Toby Stephens

Biography: Toby is the son of Robert Stephens and Dame Maggie Smith, both actors. His parents divorced when he was only four years old. After that, he and his brother, actor Chris Larkin, grew up travelling across the Atlantic with their mother for her acting career.
He studied his craft at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). His acting career began while a stagehand at the Chichester Festival Theatre.
He married his wife, Anna-Louise Plowman, on the 15th of September 2001. They have a son born in the Spring of 2007.
