Trent Ford was born in Cleveland, Ohio. His father was a test pilot for the United States Navy and his mother was a stewardess from Birmingham, England. They met in Kuwait. Trent went to 18 different high schools before finally settling in London, England. Trent went to Cambridge University where he studied English Literature. That's where he learned he wanted to become an actor. He joined the Shakespearean Group where he was in several plays including "King Lear" and "King Henry IV". Trent was in a movie called "Deeply" in 2000 starring opposite Kirsten Dunst. In 2001, Trent won a SAG award for his role in "Gosford Park", and in 2002 he was in the comedy "Slap her, She's French". Trent filmed all of these movies while still in college. He had to hide this from the administrators because he was afraid he would be expelled.
In 2002, Trent appeared in several episodes on "The West Wing" playing Jean-Paul, the boyfriend of Zoey Bartlet. In 2003, he was cast in his biggest role to date as the boyfriend of Mandy Moore in "How to Deal". Since then Trent has made several television apperance in different show's suck as "Smallville" and "Grounded for Life".… Expand
