Twiggy Lawson

Biography: Leslie "Twiggy" Hornby was born in London, the 19th of September in 1949. Being named as "The Face of 1966" by the Daily Express, when she was only 16 years old, Twiggy became and amazing supermodel, with great photographic, modeling and commercial success. She also developed her career in acting an TV and participated in "The Boyfriend" with Ken Russell (she won 2 golden globes). She also made music, from pop to country and won two silver discs. Twiggy became successful with her portraying of Eliza Doolitle in the Yorkshire's version of "Pygmalion". In 1988, Twiggy married Leigh Lawson and worked with him and Shirley Mc.Laine in "Madame Sousatzka". She co-produced and acted in "If Love Were All" in NY. Then, she wrote "Twiggy in Black and White", her autobiography which quickly became a bestseller. She was featured in various magazines, "Vogue", "Tatler", "Journal", "Magazines", "Mod Teen World" and others. Twiggy is an activist of the animal welfare, an anti-fur campaign activist and a supporter of breast cancer research.

She then replaced Janice Dickinson in America's Next Top Model as a panel judge after Janice willingly left the show.
