Yui Horie

Biography: Yui Horie (born Yoshiko Horie and sometimes called "Hot-chan") was just one of those talented seiyū (Japanese voice actors) who remained unnoticed for quite sometime. She debuted in the video game "Voice Fantasia". After that, she voiced Haruka in the anime series Kurogane Communication. A year later, she landed her first major role as the female android Multi of the console conversion from the popular PC game "To Heart". From there, her fame began to rise. The game was a success, her character was a hit, and, most importantly of all, her voice was a favorite among fans. Her second major role she landed was in the anime series Love Hina as Naru Narusegawa. From there, her career skyrocketed.

Since then, she has landed many gigs in magazines, become a professional singer (she has published five independent musical albums and has sung many anime theme songs), has appeared at special events, and has voiced many characters in numerous anime. Some of her most notable roles
in anime include Naru Narusegawa from Love Hina, Toru Honda from Fruits Basket, Sarara from Bottle Fairy, Rio Takeuchi from Spiral, and Eri Sawachika from the School Rumble series. Expand
