Critic Reviews

90 Hot Games
May not be as polished or pretty as "Code: Veronica," or as fast-paced and action-packed as "Dino Crisis 2," but it certainly has elements of both of those games in it.
88 Daily Radar
While there's nothing included that will crack the Earth with its monumental importance, it's certainly nice to know that the same old, same old has been presented with a nice, new bow.
88 Games Radar UK (Pre-2006)
It may not look as scary as "Code Veronica," but you'll definitely need some extra loo roll.
83 GameSpot
While other recently ported Capcom titles such as "Dino Crisis" are judged a little more harshly against today's standards, Resident Evil 3 Nemesis remains a very worthwhile game even though not much has been added to the translation.
80 GamerWeb Sega
Get off your butt and go buy it -- there are ghoul heads out there in desperate need of 12-gauge amputation...
80 Game Fan
Great stocking stuffers and even (a) cheap gift exchange purchase.
80 CNET Gamecenter
Along with the sharp graphics, RE3 features outstanding sound and music.
80 Planet Dreamcast
It delivers everything which made the original Resident Evil so fantastic but on a bigger and grander scale. At a budget price, it's difficult to go wrong with this unless you already own it on PSX.
80 GamePro
The game packs a punch, but the less-than-stellar visuals diminish the impact.
80 IGN
The slightly newer look, added options, and all the classic RE gameplay are enough for me to recommend this game to expert RE players -- and those that have never played the PS version should really give this game a shot.
70 DC Swirl
As a first time player of Resident Evil I found very little to dislike about the game, except for that I would like to have seen less puzzle and more action, and that's me being nitpicky.
65 Happy Puppy
Sporting sharper, smoother graphics, and a few new odds and ends, fans of the RE series who haven't tromped through the many PlayStation iterations will appreciate this conversion.
50 Game Revolution
I got a plate of old brains, stale brains, brains that had been stuffed in Tupperware, stored in the fridge and briefly reheated in the microwave.
