Critic Reviews

100 Daily Radar
Perfectly walking the line between arcade racer and sim, it delivers fantastic, deep, engrossing racing action without the endless twiddling of a sim or the ridiculous control of an arcade racer. There are no weapons or powerups, either.
100 Hot Games
Easily one of the best (if not the best) racing games on the Dreamcast. It's certainly the best GT-style circuit racer on the platform.
100 DC Swirl
The Dreamcast is running on all cylinders with this one, a game that has awesome visuals- the best on the system, control smooth as silk and super realistic handling.
98 Da Gameboyz
Arguably one of the best racing titles to be found on any console. A good mix of arcade and sim gameplay combined with a jaw-dropping graphics and superb presentation makes this a must have title.
98 Dreamcast.net
I have personally never had so much fun with a racing game. I just keep playing and playing, and find it hard to stop. Everything is done just right, and makes you want to keep coming back for more.
96 GameSpot
It is truly a game you will come back to day after day, week after week, aiming to unlock every car, break every record, and experience the excitement of the 24 Heures du Mans.
95 GamerWeb Sega
It does have a truly spectacular feel of control and speed that makes every course that is included a joy to pass through again and again.
95 Sports Gaming Network
Just flat out fun to play. Is it better than "Sega GT?" Yes. Is it better than "F-355?" Yes. I can honestly say that it's the best racer on the Dreamcast and on any system for that matter. "Whoa! Man, are you saying this is the best racer of all time?" Yep, that's what I'm saying.
94 IGN
Not only a great simulation of the 24-hour GT extravaganza, it's the best racer on Dreamcast, period.
91 Gaming Age
Graphically this is one of the prettiest damn racing titles, not only on the DC, but any platform.
91 Sega X
Test Drive Le Mans is a racing classic.
90 Total Video Games
It's very accessible to those new to driving simulators or those used to arcade style racers, but its also very challenging for the veteran racers out there too.
90 CNET Gamecenter
The most faithful representation of GT and Prototype sports car racing on the market.
90 Gaming Maxx
"Gran Turismo" finally has a competitor up there for best racer of all time.
90 Planet Dreamcast
With it's innovative full 24-hour racing mode, beautiful graphics, solid control, and tons of details, Le Mans finds itself in the company of the finest racers gamers have ever seen.
83 Game Revolution
The closed European racetracks are a refreshing change of pace from the 'left turn only' American Nascar equivalent. The graphics are definitely beautiful and it controls sweetly.
80 Happy Puppy
A spectacular arcade-style racing game with pretensions to realism that fall far short of other driving sims on the market. The unrealistic aspects of the game, however, are far overshadowed by an incredible presentation and visual touches galore.
80 Dreamcast HQ
Not as smooth as "Test Drive V-Rally," but the trade-off is that the game almost NEVER slows down.
