Ultimately, you'll die many times in Urban Chaos and scream death-threats to the programmers, their first born, everyone they've ever met and Father Christmas because the untimely demise wasn't your fault.

In the end, Urban Chaos is a beggar's banquet where good breeding (note: Mucky Foot is a splinter group borne of ex-Bullfrog employees) and redoubtable gameplay sit tastefully at the head of the table.

A disappointment, not because it was expected to be better, but it had so much going for it in gameplay and innovation, only too fall short because of control and visual weaknesses.

As it stands on Sega's magic box, there's only the junk of civilization's decay to be found -- and it smells like someone's stinky afterthought that's been left to stew in the sun.

Layers and layers of flaws completely negate any strong points the game could have had. If you absolutely must play Urban Chaos, do yourself a favor and play the PC version.
