Pretty tight controls and at least some relevant use of the Stylus. The game is not real innovative and becomes repetitive and boring.

I don’t know how to put this nicely…but Indianapolis 500 Legends is just a terrible game. Really, there’s just not much that it does right, and not even racing fans would find this especially fun.

In the end though, Indy 500 Legends is still constrained on DS as it was on Wii, as its historic roots make it true-to-form, but thin on overall fun.

With its poor controls, ugly graphics and limited track list, Indianapolis 500 Legends is not one of the better Nintendo DS racing games.

Game Positive
Indianapolis 500 Legends seems to be founded upon some interesting ideas, but the game ultimately suffers from far too much repetition. Between the graphics, sound and dull gameplay, Legends is one of the most average games ever created for the DS; absolutely nothing stands out.

Indianapolis 500 Legends is not for everyone. Although it's an arcade racer that virtually anyone can pick up and play, the excitement of driving around the same old track, year after year, wears off in a few hours.

Indianapolis 500 is still fun, but only if you can overlook the very limited scope of the game.
