Critic Reviews

100 Into Liquid Sky
It does such a wonderful job of pulling you into the Bond world and you could almost say this game is a movie and at times I had thought to myself that very idea.
100 Times Online
The over-theshoulder style does allow for the seamless integration of glossy scenes to drive on the plot and add a more genuine movie-like feel to the game.
100 Maxim Online
You can also race through a shitstorm of artillery fire in a Porsche Cayenne Turbo (complete with “Q-cloak” invisibility feature) or missile-firing Triumph Daytona 600.
91 Next Level Gaming
The most impressive feature of Everything or Nothing has to be the visuals. The game makes gamers feel like they are in the middle of James Bond movie while providing top notch graphics.
90 GameZone
The high production values of this game, actually take a back seat to the gameplay and experience, blending in as only one facet of the whole package, as it always should. An outstanding game all the way around.
90 Yahoo! Games
Packing serious star power, astounding production values, and surprisingly entertaining gameplay, Everything or Nothing delivers on all relevant counts, providing for a rousing escapade that ranks among the best to feature Her Majesty's finest.
90 eToychest
It’s difficult to complain at length about any particular gripe in the face of truly spectacular levels, innovative gameplay and almost obscenely high production values. For the first time in years, "Goldeneye" has a little competition.
90 netjak
Flat out, Everything or Nothing will blow you away.
90 Total Video Games
Offers an intense, action packed experience that ties in a nice selection of varied gameplay aspects to ensure the game never gets tired.
90 Cincinnati Enquirer
An ambitious but successful interactive adventure that blurs the lines between motion pictures and video games.
90 Inside Gamer Online
It's not just an amazing game -- its high production values also make it something of a cinematic marvel.
90 Loaded Inc
The AI is impressive and will give you a run for your money.
90 GameSpy
The franchise's signature elements are all here: driving, flying, action, stealth, and style, all done consistently well.
90 AceGamez
They haven't attempted to evolve the genre too much further, but the amount of polish, style and thought that has gone into the gameplay design and dynamics really shines through and this is a classily executed game that borrows from the elite of the modern industry and does everything with real panache.
90 GamePro
Represents a sizable leap forward in EA’s line of 007 games. The star-studded cast would’ve been suitable for an actual movie.
90 NintendoWorldReport
Where "Goldeneye" was an incredible FPS dressed in a tux, Everything or Nothing is pure, 100 proof Bond.
88 Nintendo Power
The third-person perspective is ideal for James Bond. The game has amazing replay value - tons of levels including unique co-op missions and multiplayer arena modes. [May 2004, p.119]
88 GameSpot
A third-person action game that blends shooting, driving, and other types of action together in a seamless fashion, delivering an awesome experience that puts you in 007's shoes better than any game to come before it.
87 Nintendophiles
From the particularly joyful vehicle chases, to your conniving ways of infiltrating, I am most gracious to you for giving me your secrets.
86 Game Over Online
A solid story, engaging gameplay and sound technical merits makes Everything or Nothing the best Bond title that’s been released in years.
85 1UP
It's a great feeling seeing something you shoot explode into tons of little chunks (which looks similar to when buildings explode in "Return of the King" -- another EA blockbuster title), and some of the racing scenes define the word "epic."
85 WHAM! Gaming
The driving (and flying) sequences keep the game fresh, with cars that are an absolute dream to drive.
85 Stuff
With over 20 weapons and gadgets at your disposal, you can rappel up a wall or bludgeon an enemy into submission with a wine bottle. It’s decidedly low-tech, but pleasing in a visceral way.
85 Worth Playing
They have made a Bond game with an identity all its own - the GoldenEye precedent has been broken.
85 IGN
Just a medley of solidly-executed gameplay ideas; stealth, explosive driving, shootouts, and huge boss fights come together to make it almost more compelling than some of the most recent movies.
85 Game Informer
Is it the next great evolution of gaming? Perhaps not, but it is a step towards creating the ultimate James Bond title. [Mar 2004, p.92]
84 Armchair Empire
It has high caliber production values, mission variety, easy control, and plenty of Bond moments that offset the linear levels and less-than-stellar camera.
84 RealGamer
Everything or Nothing had the potential to be a great game but feels a little like a jigsaw puzzle that hasn’t been put together right.
83 Play Magazine
The challenge can be steep. Running and gunning without taking cover and finding calculated ways of clearing a path is death. [Mar 2004, p.52]
83 Entertainment Weekly
Action addicts still get their share of mayhem, however, as EON delivers some spectacular levels, including a breakneck highway chase on a flamethrower-equipped motorcycle. Her majesty would definitely approve. [13 Feb 2004, p.L2T 18]
83 Electronic Gaming Monthly
It's been a while since I played a game with such engaging, pure, and thrilling action, and on top of the excellent single-player game, there's a pretty cool co-op mode to nicely round out the package. [Apr 2004, p.114]
83 Computer Games Magazine
The best bond game since "Goldeneye." [June 2004, p.11]
82 TotalGames.net
OK so it's not exactly packed with originality neither will it take you weeks to complete but it's loads of fun and after all isn't that what's important? Put simply, it's quite possibly the best Bond game yet as far as its overall 'Bondness' goes.
81 GameCube Europe
Gameplay is very cinematic, and it feels as close to a Bond movie as is humanly possible...You feel like you really are Bond, and if you think about it, what more could you want from a Bond game?
80 GMR Magazine
Particularly thrilling is the motorcycle chase on the narrow freeway, evoking strong visions of what EA could have done had it been blessed with "The Matrix" license.
78 Weekly Famitsu
8 / 8 / 7 / 8 - 31 silver [Vol 792; 20 Feb 2004]
75 Game Revolution
High production values, exciting vehicle sequences and the cool Bond Moments outweigh the tedious shooting bits and subpar stealth modes, leading to a solid use of the license.
72 Computer and Video Games
Games are something you play, films are something you watch. Unfortunately for EoN there are too many films and not enough game.
70 Gamer.tv
Fun in the short-term and has ambition, but there's not enough innovation to get excited about, or warrant re-playing what is a lengthy franchise title.
50 games(TM)
With just as many levels where you'll pray for it to be over than where you're actually having fun, the game turns out to be a mixture of styles that don't meld together as solidly as they should, as well as having several frustrating joypad-throwing moments and often demanding extraordinary feats of memory from the player. [Mar 2004, p.114]
50 Edge Magazine
It's perhaps because the title benefits from such a high production spend … that the average design and execution becomes more pronounced. [Mar 2004, p.101]
