Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town (GameBoy Advance)

You’ve always lived in the city…working 9 to 5 and enduring the rat race that you call life. That is until one day you came across an advertisement for a fantastic life in the country. Excited, you quit your job, packed your belongings and headed to the country for a new opportunity. However, instead of finding the ‘advertised’ life you wanted…you found a long neglected farm in a town full of strangers. Never one to shy away from a challenge, you roll up your sleeves, dig in and start to create the life and farm of your dreams. It is up to you to successfully rejuvenate the farm and build a life for yourself with family and friends. The best part is, you can do it anyway you want. Plant and harvest crops, raise farm animals, marry the man of your dreams and start a family…create your own pastoral adventure. A Harvest Moon adventure through different eyes – play as a girl! Marry and start a family with one of the 5 eligible bachelors. [Natsume]

Critic Reviews

89 GameZone
Farming couldn’t be more satisfying than this. Sure keeping your farm up and running is a task that has you working overtime but there’s a lot of fun to be had in the process.
85 Next Level Gaming
Anyone who is female and a fan of the series should pick this game up immediately. Cute characters and dialogue help add to the charm the series has had since its debut on the Super Nintendo.
85 Nintendo Power
Quotation forthcoming. [Sept 2005]
85 IGN
A great and highly recommended experience that will last you a very, very, long time on the GBA -- but only if you're new to the series on the handheld. Those already familiar with the original game don't need a replay.
80 Cheat Code Central
If you've played Friends of Mineral Town there's nothing to see here. Move along. If this is all new to you, then you're in for a real treat. There's no other RPG like it - except for the other one that's exactly like it.
80 N-Insanity
Quite the interesting game, especially for one that is just a clone of a game from a few years past.
80 Inside Gamer Online
Suffers from the same “problems” as any sim-game; repetition of the tedious.
76 GameSpot
The graphics, the audio, the events (and everything else) are identical in both games, but only now, players control a farm girl instead of a farm boy and court future husbands instead of future wives.
