Critic Reviews

89 PGNx Media
Offers enough new gameplay to please fans of the series. The GBA version of the game is very similar to the console versions and the major changes are certainly represented in this iteration.
70 Nintendo Power
The game's classic THPS-style arcade mode and three unlockable minigames add depth to the seven-stage story mode. [Dec 2004, p.156]
70 Computer and Video Games
Overall this isn't bad, it just takes a lot of getting used to, particularly the isometric view. It's worth persevering, because, apart from actual skating, this is the most board-based fun you'll have on the move.
65 IGN
The GBA is the only system with five versions of the Tony Hawk franchise, and it's clear that, with THUG2, Vicarious Visions' Tony Hawk team is creatively tapped. Put to the task of bringing a fourth sequel to the handheld, the team just couldn't figure out a fresh new direction to take Tony Hawk.
