Critic Reviews

86 N-Gage World
The graphics are where this game really stands out and you would be forgiven for thinking that you were in fact playing a Play Station game. The game is full of vibrant colours and features some lovely car animations which are reasonably smooth and very accurate to the original car manufacturer designs.
79 Console Gameworld
Improves on some of the issues we've experienced with other N-Gage racing games, but there are still some aspects that need work.
75 GameSpot
Asphalt's production is a little uneven in spots, but it gets enough of it right that, in the end, the experience is pretty enjoyable.
75 GameBiz
The controls and graphics have been improved previous N-Gage racing games. Asphalt is one of the fastest and playable N-Gage games to date.
69 IC-Games
The plethora of game modes and available vehicles is impressive and Gamelofts proprietary engine rarely coughs up a splutter. It’s not quite the blockbuster that we hoped for but as an occasional racer Asphalt will calm the petrol head in us all.
