Conflict Zone (Playstation 2)

It's early 21st century and the majority of the world's countries have created the International Corps for Peace, an organisation dedicated to bringing about world peace. However, not all countries are keen to be involved and these persist in generating conflicts through the organisation GHOST. A secret organisation, which warrants only the economic interests of its members without any attachment to morals, GHOST, does not hesitate to create crisis situations with the goal of destabilising the world-wide equilibrium and endanger any chance of peace. Critic Reviews

65 TotalGames.net
It’s overly confusing without even rewarding the diligent player with a satisfying payoff. There is no, and we mean NO, sense of satisfaction in victory.
60 Yahoo! Games
You shouldn’t be buying Combat Zone for its graphics, or the sound. You should really be getting this one for its gameplay. Thankfully, it does not disappoint in this respect, nor in the sharpness of the AI exhibited therein.
50 Official U.S. Playstation Magazine
An entirely average game. [Dec 2002, p.158]
50 PSM Magazine
The camera control is difficult to use and the button layout requires a PHD to master. [Jan 2003, p.42]
50 Cheat Code Central
The passion, excitement and horrors of war elude Conflict Zone.
41 IGN
Technically flawed in a myriad of ways and far less superior to just about any RTS on the market, Ubi Soft's PC turned DC to PS2 effort is an unfortunate waste of time.
20 G4 TV
The whole game is embarrassingly shoddy. From the glitch that prevents sound from playing during the opening cutscene, to the finger-cramping control scheme, Conflict Zone fails to ever become fun.
