Critic Reviews

90 Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK
A top quality football game with bags of playability. [May 2008, p.78]
83 PSX Extreme
All in all, Euro 2008 is yet another superb soccer game from EA Sports. It picks up where FIFA 08 left off, and adds improvements to the overall experience.
81 PSM3 Magazine UK
An exquisite football game. [June 2008, p.85]
80 PTGamers
See this game as version 1.1 of FIFA 08, but focused on the UEFA European Championship, and as a nice taste of things to come in the next edition of FIFA.
80 VideoGamer
The big question hanging over Euro 2008 is if it's worth its price tag, given that it's essential a tweaked FIFA 08 and FIFA 09 is only a few months away? The core gameplay has been tweaked enough to make FIFA 08 feel slightly dated, but chances are FIFA 09 will improve on this even further.
73 IGN
All that withstanding, UEFA Euro 2008 is still a fun and enjoyable outing that enthusiasts of the sport will certainly enjoy provided they haven't seen the current-gen versions yet.
70 Gameplanet
A good solid soccer title which builds on previous EA soccer titles. Some glitches here and there and a high learning curve means you will need to stick at it, and might put off newcomers to the series. But an incredible match and graphics engine help to make up for this.
60 GameZone
Year after year, players hope UEFA will be an expansion of or alternative to FIFA. But the Euro 2008 edition is what players of the last game might have expected: a slight variation, not an alternative or expansion.
