Kao the Kangaroo: Round 2 (Xbox)

Kao the kangaroo is on the run – he has to stop the evil hunter Barnaba, who has captured most of his friends. Starting deep in the forests of the beavers, your journey will bring you to fascinating locations like the thunder mountain, the sea land and even the lost treasure island. Lots of adventures are waiting – use a snowboard to cross the frozen "gap of no return", win a breath-taking speed boat race and fly on the back of your pelican friend across the sea until you reach the legendary treasure island and the hideout of Barnaba. Those prepared to give Kao the love and attention it deservers will find a more than capable adventure waiting inside.
80 Loaded Inc
For many who struggled with Kao's first outing on the Dreamcast this new version is everything the original should have been - and more.
80 AceGamez
Even though it might be over too quickly for platforming veterans, those who like action from the word go will find their long lost pal in Kao the Kangaroo 2. With an enormous and linear breath of fresh air feeling, this game puts the cool back in old school and will have most gamers jumping for joy for as long as it lasts!
61 GameSpot
Kao's latest adventure isn't very innovative or challenging, but it is varied enough to hold a player's attention for an entire weekend.

The real problem is that it has been done so many times before that at some stages in the game you get that déjà vu feeling you played the same location, executed the exact move and experienced the same sequence of events but this time it’s a Kangaroo you are sharing it with and not another endearing character.
45 TotalGames.net
Only really recommended for wide-eyed children who are yet to tire of jumping on switches and collecting thousands of shiny, yet meaningless, tokens.
30 Boomtown
As much as this game would like you to believe it’s suitable for all ages, I believe it’s been made with kids in mind and at the same time, someone in the Quality Control department at Jowood has thought that low quality will be fine for said same children.
