Shiver: Vanishing Hitchhiker isn't going to be a game that taxes old hands at the adventure gaming genre, but it is a decent example of what publisher Big Fish Games can offer. It'll only take around 3-4 hours to complete but it's a fun experience with the option of two difficulty levels, affecting play.

Tiny Troopers is fun in small doses and has the makings of a pretty cool casual war game. It's just that the soldiers' movements aren't entirely accurate. An issue that doesn't go well with permadeath. It's certainly entertaining in its own way, but requires a lot of patience to get anywhere.

It’s just tanks, battling it out. It’s not the best-controlling game ever, and the concept won’t light the world on fire, but it’s just tanks. It’s 99 cents to control a tank across 70 levels, and that’s it.

While Flick Champions isn’t anything worth writing home about, the many different ways to approach the title helps augment the replayability. It is hard to say how long it will maintain a player’s interest, but at least the potential for preoccupation is there.

A simple concept, Cloud Breaker is fiendishly challenging. Even for those used to the brick-busting genre.

Brodlzottn clearly uses a lot of endless jumping and running style mechanics that we've seen before but it still feels fresher than many. It's down to the concept really, it's so utterly bizarre and unique.

Bubble Fins doesn't reinvent the wheel, sticking to bubble popping conventions, but it is a fun and challenging take on a very familiar format.

Freefall Defender is extremely simple but it's also kind of fun. It doesn't set the world on fire but it passes the time nicely enough. Give it a shot if you're in the mood for quirky simplicity. Don't expect depth though!

The shaking method to destroy the droplets is a nice touch but Liqua Pop still feels like something that either needs a price drop or some extra features to make it truly worth a purchase.
