The Trace isn't the toughest of murder mysteries to solve, but it's pretty fun to figure out.

Naught Reawakening's checkpoint system is a source of frustration, but otherwise this world-turning platforming title is unique and atmospheric.

Pixel Rush proves why one shouldn’t write off games based on descriptions alone. The only way to really know how good a game can be is by playing it.

In the end, Expand It! is a fun (and cute) little distraction of an iOS game. It can get frustrating at times, but it does a pretty good job of merging rainbows, dinosaurs, and physics more often than not.

Chimpact makes me hungry. Mostly for bananas, but also for one more round of play, making it easy to recommend to those who enjoy this type of (one more) iOS monkey business.

Due to the level of difficulty and its minimalist theme, Splice is going to be a bit of an acquired taste. Some will prefer more handholding and more character. For those who love to experiment, however, this is the game to gravitate towards. It's a purist's idea of heaven.

Again though, Pet Wars HD is a game where dog wizards fight cat robots. That's victory enough. The fact that the gameplay is even halfway decent is really just a bonus.

It's a little cumbersome placing one finger on a shape to move the machine along the riverbed, blocking the player from seeing what's going on but, other than that, Eager Beaver ticks all the relevant physics puzzler boxes. It's not quite as interesting a concept as we usually see from Chillingo but the cute appearance of Edgar goes a long way to rectifying things.

With over sixty levels spread across three areas (Deep Caverns, Lava Tunnels and Lunar Foundry), and fifty eight ship parts to collect, it should keep all but the most persistent players busy for a while.

Though it may be hard to believe, Beeline may have found the perfect way to distill the Ghostbusters experience into iOS game form. The fact that it is completely free and fun to boot makes it an even heartier download recommendation. So, who you gonna call? It should definitely be these guys.
