The short of it is that Spaceteam is an absolutely stupid amount of absolutely stupid fun for any small group of iOS users. Whether they idolize Gene Roddenberry or love satirizing Captain Kirk.

The RPG elements are fantastic, the story is great, and the graphics and sound are amazing. In a game like this, I would expect longevity to be a concern, but if you do everything in the game, it will probably take you 10-15 hours… and maybe more, to complete.

While Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for iPhone offers a similar experience to its console counterpart, it won't be the 3D graphic-intensive one you were probably hoping for. That said, the game combines the use of brilliant on-screen controls, immersive objects and environments, comic-like visuals, and supreme attention to detail throughout to bring the first version of the GTA franchise to iPhone.

It's one of those games that's obviously been designed specifically for iOS users, the current crop of iOS users that have grown accustomed to quality portable titles, from the ground up. It probably shouldn't be missed.

At the risk of sounding cliché, it's not hard to argue that FIFA 13 is a pitch perfect adaption of the world's sport. While that might be a bit extreme, the brand's dedication to tweaking game mechanics until they are perfect, seems to be shining through loud and clear.

Bejeweled is, as always, a very familiar but always exciting experience. The visuals are spot on, really taking advantage of the retina display, and the various modes give players some good choices so they don't get burned out.

A very good-looking game, and one that is well-designed. The levels can be daunting at times, but it really just takes some strategic planning in order to solve the game's challenges. For those who have played one too many tower defense games and want a new perspective on things, this is worth checking out.

While you won't get any new content for upgrading to the HD version, it's so pretty I can't see why you wouldn't.

It's really not hard for me to say that Modern Combat 2 is my favorite iPhone FPS.

But really, Kingdom Conquest does a fantastic job at being more than just the typical farming game, while keeping a lot of what makes these types of freemium games work.

An exceptionally well designed, visually pleasing and frantically challenging action title.

With very rich, vibrant colors and some solid match 3 game play, Piyo Blocks 2 is a great game for anyone looking for a challenge.

Qvoid is an inventive puzzle game with beautiful graphics and a steady learning curve. The challenges are engrossing and complex enough to be entertaining without overly frustrating.

Ant Raid shows how sneaky the casual RTS is. What seems cute and mindless is actually incredibly fun because it encourages one to think and use a little foresight. It may not be a gateway directly into something like Starcraft but hey, it's a start.

It's possibly one of the best iOS puzzle games in recent memory, and it's available at a price that's downright foolish to pass up.

Windosill is a game that I feel should be experienced by everyone. The puzzles are well thought out, it looks and sounds great and has such a unique feel. Really great stuff.

Little Things Forever won't appeal to those who like tons of action or marauding zombies, but for the mellower solving set and as a family activity it's a delight. It's also the rare game where I urge you to turn the volume up – even the music makes for a wonderfully addictive experience.

It's an exceptional value and a fascinating story.

This is one of my favorite iOS games in recent memory, and one of the best endless games on the App Store. I cannot stress how highly I recommend this game, and I will keep playing it long after this review is finished.

With over 100 different space stations to explore and four different races to interact with, Galaxy on Fire 2 will take you much longer to complete than the 10 hours that FISHLABS promises.

Fans of first person shooters, and especially the original N.O.V.A., will definitely not be disappointed with this fantastic sequel. With its painstaking amount of action and detail, N.O.V.A. 2 really does feel almost console worthy.

An impressive first offering from its designer, with a neat new spin on the puzzle app. Puzzle fans should definitely check it out.

Pizza vs. Skeletons is what I love about reviewing. In an endless queue of redundant concepts out pops a game that is utterly unexpected, irreverent and loads of fun to play. Expect this one to be a long-time hit and to spawn many cheesy copycats; it's just that tasty.

Magic 2013 is one of the best iOS games I've played this year. Hands down.

F=ma nails it in just about every aspect imaginable. Comical, addictive, and just all-around fun. Check this one out.
