Gears of War 2 is the kind of game that third person shooters should try to imitate. We are not talking about the chosen theme or its tactical arcade scope, but instead we want to point out how well the console resources have been used in order to get an impeccable gameplay. A must have. The total shooter.

Chinatown Wars is a game that feels new and fresh, even though it largely relies on the concepts forged in GTA's past. Probably the best DS title on the market currently.

The single player campaign is one of the most memorable off-line gameplays that can be experienced now, and its multiplayer modes are very interesting too. Uncharted 3 is definitely the best reason to own a PlayStation 3.

This game is an amazing new iteration for the Assassin's Creed saga, a worthy successor to its awesome predecessors, and an epic tale where you can enjoy the incredible amount of work that Ubisoft surely invested on it. Here the American Revolution feels alive and fresh, and it comes with a multifaceted and human hero: the memorable Connor.

Three factors make Killzone 2 one of the best shooters of recent years. An immense individual campaign, an addictive multiplayer mode and a graphical section that could leave any fan exhausted. With these three axes Guerrilla works a fascinating shooter; a magnificent tribute to action and science fiction cinema, that as a gameplay and sensorial proposal will not be forgotten any time soon.

CryTek demonstrates again its hegemony in first person shooters and it does it with a new gem. A brief campaign but charged with a shining pace is its main attractive, and in this occasion the multiplayer section has become one of its main highlights too. A new demonstration of the unquestionable health of the action in the 21st century. We don´t usually like to talk about the price in the final conclusions, but the possibility to buy a game like Crysis Warhead for just 30 € is a fact to consider.

PC receives, finally, its own version of a game that will remain, Grand Theft Auto IV. For those who dream about living different lives, with doing what the society bans or considers immoral, and with becoming the darkest guts of the worse human beings, GTA IV is their game. As a great trip to the lowest and the shadiest passions of men, the new game of Rockstar is an epic tale, with a scope never seen before in a videogame.

Empire is the new jewel of Total War. If anybody wants to understand the definition of the concept of strategy in video games, he should have a look first to what Creative Assembly has to offer. Mixing with unusual ability, strategy in turns and tactics in real time, the new delivery of the series contributes enough new features to be considered once again as one of the best RTS of the last years. Empire is a great and amazing tribute to one of the most hectic centuries of the history of the human being: The XVIII.

Bioshock is one of the best video games for PlayStation 3. As simple as that. Its duration of 10 hours and its absence of multiplayer mode do not cloud one of the most frightening and at the same time captivating experiences that can be lived at this moment. This is an innovating, funny and exciting game. Technologically very advanced, it is a new attempt to get to the highest degree of videogaming.
