Red Alert 3 is a remarkable RTS. The tactical aspect is weak and we could name it "the arcade version of the RTS", but is also fun and cool at the same time and it works fine with the Xbox 360 pad. A blockbuster entertainment that prioritizes the aggressiveness and the speed, than the intelligence or the smart tactics. -

Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars for Wii inherits the essence of the classic 3d platformer games and adapts it to the Wii motion control. It has a great ideas for the gameplay and its art style is amazing. It has a great sense of exploration but the camera is poor and the game a little short. Is one of the few good and brave platform titles available on Wii. -

Uprising, as the first expansion of Red Alert 3, achieves an interesting result by breaking its gameplay standards. Its budget cost and the Red Alert feeling could get more fans by offering a more compelling campaign mode, and an on-line multiplayer. -

Codename Panzers: Cold War is a good RTS that just needed a little more flash and charisma to be in the same league as the rest of the series. The magic disappears and the fast pace prevails, but the ton of contents and the serious and quality proposal are still tags of this franchise. -

In Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 1 we miss the pleasant sense of humor of The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2, and its great pace. But Launch of the Screaming Narwhal is an acceptable first entry for a new franchise that, with its 5 chapters together, could result in a nice game. -

Castlevania: The Adventure Rebirth is a throwback to the 16 bits generation. An old school game with many feelings but lack in innovation. Too Human turns itself too quickly into an entertainment of fast, reiterative and excessively easy consumption, but it also counts with some elements that save it from forgetfulness. Good music, simple action, pleasant treatment and a good personalisation of weapons and objects are among its virtues. However, other components such as the argument or the role part, designed to give the game its own personal touch, fail resoundingly. -

Capcom gives us a wiimote to go shopping again in Willamette. Probably, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop had deserved an independent design, instead of a port, but it still can be a good survival-horror action choice for gamers who don't own an Xbox 360. -

Prinny: Can I be the Hero? is a complex platformer with burst of actions where the story is all based upon the Disgaea Universe, offers a pleasing experience for gamers. Spectrobes: Origins brings to Wii the essence of the Nintendo DS games. The real time battles, commanding many kind of creatures and with the new excavation fossils are so great. Samba de Amigo returns again thanks to Wii in a game that inherits all the best of the original, while adding new options to adapt it to present needs. The control with the features works well but they are not absolutely precise. Furthermore the game is repetitive and so it is not at the same level of other musical games of this generation. Even so, thanks to the great number of ways of gaming and songs available, it will turn to reference all the nostalgia of the first version and also for the lovers of the latin rhythm. -

The Last Guy is an excellent videogame that re-invents the PacMan style to take it to a much more up-to date design. Lord of the Rings: Conquest is a videogame too far from excellence to be recommendable without making some kind of warning marks before. Those who don't like the senseless button smashing will not enjoy this game, but if you are a fan of both the Tolkien universe and the online battles you will find here an honest but reiterative entertainment. -

Metal Slug 7 comes to Nintendo DS with the whole magic of the classical franchise. Totally faithful to the original game, it doesn“t need any innovations, but in these times the experience is a little limited for the home consoles. Unfortunately it doesn't have a multiplayer mode. A perfect game for the followers of the series. -

AWAY: Shuffle Dungeon mixes the classical with the modern and it has got some features of the action-RPG genre with an extra original point in the dungeon style. Its playability is simple, not so deeply and a little repetitive but it bets for build a new way. A funny and charismatic adventure suitable for players looking originality in a game. -

Beneath the Ashes offers extra content that the fans of the voluptuous adventurer will be grateful for. Tomb Raider Underworld follows-up in Xbox 360 with an epilogue not too necessary in terms of plot, but that contributes with new puzzles and combats to its campaign. More hours, achievements and challenges for a genre that, unfortunately, does not proliferate in the present generation. -

Phantasy Star Portable takes the better things of the two previous PS Universe games to offer a handheld experience with huge possibilities, especially in its multiplayer mode. The visuals look so good and the combat mechanics are rights but sadly the game contains a poor AI and an empty story. A good classic role-playing game, now on PSP. -

Spyborgs is a tribute of the classical beat“em up games taking advantage of the new Wii controls. The 35 stages will offer us a huge cyborgs to defeat in amazing combats. The addictive and fast gameplay with a dynamic experience comes thanks to the chance to jump between the characters to focus better the action. The 2 player co-op plus the unique character unique powers give crazy playing moments. Sadly the lack in innovation and the repetitive of the way affects the interesting project. -

Football Manager Handheld 2010 is the best soccer manager on PSP. It is inspired on the 2009“s version with some new features offering a better engine than ever.
