Linear gameplay can be a turn off… AI glitches. Ineffective spells, needs more weapons (relative con's - it's a matter of taste).

A stunning techincal (gameplay) achievement that may be lacking a decent script to truly lead the way into the era of interactive PC movies.

The near-flawless squad-based combat comes at a certain price. The levels often feel very limiting, highly railed, and brimming with scripted sequences. They never even attempt to create the illusion of non-linearity.

Probably one of the best tactical military shooters I've played. It's authentic, gritty and highly original in the way it was executed. And it requires you to use your brains for a change.

Instead of just competing with Pro Evo Soccer outright, the designers were smart enough to reexamine the gameplay from a more fundamental level and "Be A Pro" mode of play achieves this smoothly and effectively.

PGR4 has more horsepower under its hood than initially meets the eye. The fourth game was carefully constructed to use the latest technology as a mere tool in reaching the ultimate design goal for this one - which is to make PGR 4 a fun and rewarding gameplay experience.

More than anything else, we applaud the idea, effort and creativity behind this project. It's not quite as ground-breaking as, say, Valve's Portal, but it's almost as ambitious.

Resident Evil 5 has some of the most impressive character models we've ever seen in a video game. Some of the indoor and outdoor environments are literarily stunning - our compliments to the designers in that respect.

An Assassin’s Creed game hasn’t been this good since Assassin’s Creed 2. There are some regrettable elements of repetition that have stuck with the series and are still present, although nothing that would get in the way of some solid action, realistic and incredibly exciting naval battles, in addition to the variety of activities Kenway undertakes in order to satisfy his lust for riches.

Even with all its minor and more significant shortcomings HALO is still one of the most enjoyable FPS games I've ever played. The single-player is immersive, well-told and at times simply brilliant. With a powerful enough rig, all PC shooter fans will definitely want to own this game.
