    This is a fun game that tests your wit and resourcefulness. The game is essentially Lemmings with a pirate skin, but entertaining nonetheless.

    I love quick little games, and Dice Mage falls into that category nicely. The vintage graphics look great, the music is quirky and catchy, controls are simple enough, and the gameplay is fun, despite the heavy reliance on luck. I recommend checking this one out if you love mobile RPGs and like to roll the dice.

    The visuals and soundtrack are definitely reminiscent of the old-school RPG days, and I absolutely love the Penny Arcade humor in the character dialogue. The only other complaint I have about it, besides the small joystick issue, is the fact that the text in dialogue boxes can be pretty small, considering how much space there is.

However, since the game is a free download, it does make use of an annoying energy system (batteries) and sometimes the levels seem so difficult at first that it feels like the game is pushing you to get some in-app purchases to help you out.
