I will admit that there is a fair amount of variety packed into this little game, so if the technical issues could be resolved, I'm sure that it would be at least decent if not stellar, but as it currently stands, A Girl in the City is less glamorous Manhattan and more spray-tanned Jersey Shore.

I confess, I really wanted this app to be great, but history has shown time and time again that licensed games tend to be pretty disappointing, and Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time is no exception. While it's far from a total failure, it just doesn't really satisfy.

Overall, there's nothing particularly interesting or innovative about Fish Tales that we haven't seen a hundred times over in other games, but the visual appeal very strong, and the lively, fully animated aquarium setting is what gives it a slight edge over other games of its type.

It's a very original idea for a puzzle game, and hasn't been done a lot compared to those Tetris knock offs. Unfortunately I didn't find a free version in the app store, so this would be a gamble, but ok for those who are into puzzle games.
