Beyond its unconventional and somewhat unconvincing gameplay, Heavy Rain is one of those few products able to assure a real videogame experience, taking gamers though a journey they’ll hardly forget. Quantic Dream has definitely pushed forth the standards of the whole adventure games genre.

From now on, to play the best GDR available you don't have any longer to play with Baldur's Gate: place your copy among the finest pieces of your collection and enjoy this great game that, despite some ugly textures and those finishing touches you will soon forget not to see, will keep you in front of the screen for a very long time.

Although Rockstar Leeds could have probably pushed the quality of this porting a bit further, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars proves to be an excellent game, capable of entertaining throughout the adventure. A real must buy for any PSP owner.

FM 2010 is indeed a good evolution over its predecessor, the various improvements have set the bar even higher, and there are few who really get there.

Although its gameplay is probably a little too "Power Play-centric" and the intense atmosphere might lose its charm over time, Split/Second proves to be an exceptional racing game, capable of assuring an intense and fun driving experience to both fans of the genre and potential newcomers. An absolute must buy for anyone searching for some real action.

Super Street Fighter IV is everything but a simple add-on. Capcom has done an excellent job with this game, adding 10 great characters, refining the overall gameplay and creating a great beat'em up. The online is fantastic, and if you have good friends to play with, you definitely MUST buy this game.

Nothing to object (save the anachronistic lack of the online multiplayer): Nintendo has created once again a magnificent product, an amazing party game with no barriers to entry nor annoying distinctions between casual and hardcore players. Prepare your Wiimotes and invite your friends: the legendary plumber is back with an old school adventure you won't easily forget.

Frontier Development has once again managed to demonstrate WiiWare's incredible potential. LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias is in fact an excellent game, capable of building on its predecessor strengths while solving many of its issues. A must buy for any Wii owner out there.

Another little masterpiece from Nintendo, similar but better than Phantom Hourglass. If you have a DS, just buy it.

God of War III is the perfect epilogue of a great trilogy. The game has no innovation, but it's gameplay is the perfect goal for the action games. Fast, epic, intense, God of War III is the perfect experience for the action gamer. Buy it, and love it!

Total War is a come back for the Total War series: after the uncertain step of Empire, we now are in front of a wonderful game, one with great gameplay. Walking in the shoes of Napoleon is a dream for every strategist and being able to do it in such a game is fantastic. Multiplayer is the icing on the cake.

UFC 2010 Undisputed is a much better game than the previous one. The combat system is deeper and more complete, and the sway system is a nice addition as the possibility to change submission on the way and the more physical interaction with the cage. Even the career mode has more variety than before. If you love MMA, this is your game.

Even though it does not introduce any innovations compared to its original counterpart, the European edition of Demon's Souls confirms itself as one of the best exclusives currently available on PS3. Its hard but rewarding gameplay will in fact engage any fan of the genre, assuring a fun and long lasting experience.

Thanks to its strong narrative and wonderfully crafted gameplay, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker proves to be one of the best PSP titles currently on the market. With nothing to envy to other games of the franchise, this product will surely keep you busy for a long, long time.

The Signal is everything Alan Wake should have been. In about 2 hours of gameplay, the developers created a great atmosphere, a fantastic gameplay and the right amount of variety. The lack of different kind of situations was the main issue with the original game. The "floating words" idea is fantastic, and brings an awesome and original feature inside a previously boring gameplay.

StarCraft II can be considered a refined version of its parent: so, despite the fact that perfection has been reached once again, we admit we expected a little bit more of innovation after 12 years waiting for this sequel. Anyway, it's a "must buy" for every RTS fan.

Just like its predecessor, Valkyria Chronicles II proves to be an absolute must buy. Reach is the best Halo ever created by Bungie. Great graphics, excellent storyline and the usual perfect multiplayer, make this game a "must buy" not for every Halo fan, but also for everyone playing first person shooters. Unfortunately, a 5-hour single-player campaign prevents the game from gaining that perfect score that it would have otherwise deserved.

More of the same, yet always different, Civilization V is an intelligent lecture of the past, read through the eyes of the new generations. Some epic changes are able to modify the historical gameplay and the result is excellent.
