Its blend of platforms and puzzles and the way the game was spawned from Super Mario 3D World are very well executed and the overall atmosphere of the title is extremely creative and likely to keep players around it for a long time.

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, a title as long and exaggerated as the fun and entertainment this game provides. One of the Wii U’s best works, Guacamelee’s enhanced version plays like a a “metroidvania” type of game and fills the spaces with a delightful atmosphere, an exquisite artistic component and an affection which is set to grow in the player’s heart.

Majora's Mask 3D is all that a remake of the original could ask for. Not only does Nintendo deliver the original's immersive plot, extremely challenging temples, multiple side-quests and the overall gloom and sorrow that surrounds the adventure, it still finds space for improvements, even at a handheld level. Let the inexperienced be warned, though: this will not go easy on the newly-arrived.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D brings to the New 3DS what was one of the best games released for the Wii in all its JRPG glory. While some technical aspects are clearly downgraded, this does not affect the overall experience of the game and with an enormous gameplay and world to explore, this Xenoblade port is an excellent opportunity for newcomers.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U may not correspond exactly to what everyone was yearning but this does not take the spotlight away from Nintendo's flagship brawler. A fantastic graphical environment, involving and fun gameplay, magnificent soundtrack and a lengthy lifespan all contribute for yet another monumental chapter of the series.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse ticks all the right boxes as far as fun and entertaining adventures are concerned. It may not be the toughest or most challenging experience, but it's another reason to appreciate the Shantae series, especially for those who seek some old-school style gameplay with a beautiful graphical background.
