If you spent hours of your childhood playing SWOS, you won't be disappointed with this updated version. With all of its original features intact and the addition of online multiplayer, there's plenty of depth here for those who are willing to devote time and practice. -

In the end, Final Fantasy IV DS is the best version of the game available. -

In the end, Battlefield: Bad Company is by no means a bad first-person shooter, but it's also far from the best. Unfortunately, as it is, it's more likely to get lost in the sea of shooters that already line the shelves. -

Ultimately, if you're willing to learn the ropes, there's some good fun to be had in Too Human - and gamers that know what to expect are less likely to be disappointed. -

Folklore certainly has problems, but it will win you over in the end with mostly enjoyable gameplay. Capturing folks, upgrading their abilities and defeating bosses is gratifying enough to merit stomaching the game's awful presentational style. -

If you have the capacity to overlook its technical issues and have a group of friends who like the genre, the game could be worth a download. However, until a patch arrives, the game cannot be wholeheartedly recommended. -

While the meat of the game lies in the extensive story mode, some fun can be had with the multiplayer. -

At the standard MSRP, Ninja Gaiden II feels like too little for the average gamer's money. While replay value is certainly there with regards to four levels of difficulty and the promise of future downloadable content, there haven't been many strides made toward evolving the series. -

Turok offers a few entertaining hours of play, but isn't spectacular enough to keep you coming back long after you've slain the last dinosaur. -

Rise of a Ninja is decent for what it is, in that it's a solid first attempt at the Naruto franchise on a modern console. -

At its core, The Club is all about shooting, running, and then shooting some more. This broad approach to game development is risky considering the saturation of similar titles on the market, but the gameplay is well supplemented by a scoring system that adds value to repeated play and practice. -

Critic Score 70
This a decent purchase at 800 points, even if just for the multiplayer. The campaign is fun and challenging, but even for a smaller game like this, falls disappointingly short. -

Lost Planet provides the PlayStation 3 with a third-person shooter that is unique and quirky, but not necessarily strong enough to warrant a purchase for most gamers. -

Despite its flaws, Star Ocean: The Last Hope is a solid, gameplay-oriented fling that most fans of RPGs should still be able to enjoy. -

It's great to have such a visually appealing and mature-themed title on the Wii, but MadWorld is too brief and a bit too shallow to justify a purchase. -

Despite the initial weirdness and a few flaws, Zeno Clash is a unique take on first-person fighting that anyone with an open mind will likely enjoy. -

Given that this is such a short game, it becomes hard to recommend at the sixty dollar asking price. However, it's still a solid experience that should be looked into for at least a rental for fans of the genre. -

Between being based on a show without any new episodes in several years, and having its primary release be on the PlayStation 2, there is an air of irrelevancy to the entire product. -

Flaws and all, Jackass plays well enough, and if you're fan of the TV series, you're bound to at least get some enjoyment out of the game. -

The game has some refreshing ideas, and if you can look past these issues, you may find some fun in Midway's latest romp. -

Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law will appeal to fans of the Cartoon Network show, but those not enamored of the humor and art style will probably end up bored. -
