The overworld map -- while bearing minor resemblance to the layout of previous games -- is much larger than you'd think and the dungeons are as big, fiendish and ingenious as ever with a perfect learning curve.

Its mechanics work so well, even with the casual gamer, yet so incredibly deep even for the advanced golfing professional (there's even a massive golfing term dictionary in the game).

While "Final Fantasy IV Advance" has always been a favorite of mine from the SNES era as I grew up with it and enjoyed the shorter game with the emotional plot, this game really knocks the bar up a notch with quality gameplay and a more involving and ever evolving plot.

It is nothing but fun from beginning to end. The one thing that surprises me is how most players have ignored it, even though it is a *gasp* brand new Mario game!

With the well developed co-op, blazingly fast single player, and the underused but excellent multiplayer, and with an excellent soundtrack, Sonic Advance 3 expands in ever way over Sonic Advance 1 & 2.

Any way you look at it Drill Dozer is an amazing piece of software. Although Drill Dozer looks like it has taken some cues from some of the best 2D games in history, it still manages to create a style of its own.

I was delighted to find such a different approach and concept that somehow worked so well. My only real complaint is the inventory system, and frankly that is in itself, trivial.

I always wondered if someone could pull off a "Diablo"-esque game on the GBA, and this proves it can be done, and done well.

Only one thing will prevent this game from potential success, and that is its appeal. Many gamers are too concerned with their public appearance, and they cannot see themselves walking into the store to buy (what they think is) a cute and cuddly game –- they fear humiliation. But how can you resist such an amazing and fun game such as this one?

It's true that Tales of Phantasia isn't the huge RPG that it was back in the SNES era, or even the shadow of newer RPGs from last generation, but it is still a warm, heart-filling experience that anyone who can overcome hours of tough, continuous battling will enjoy.

It is a great game because of the involving story. That is the one aspect that it does better than its competitors, and in that respect, it more than makes up for its other misgivings.

Technically, Pac-man has already made it onto a Game Boy Advance cartridge in Pac-man collection, and if you count Ms Pac Man in Namco museum. This makes it very difficult to justify a purchase, if the game is available for less, and it even has more games included.
