The Japanese RPG surprises with challenging tactical battles and an almost stereotype-free and thrilling story. The excellent PC conversion offers more than a hundred hours of playing time, several small enhancements compared to the console version and runs fine on mid-range PCs.

It captures the charm of the outstanding original, and should satisfy fans of the original. However, it is also monotonous, tough and a little unimaginative.

With lots of different opponents, unpredictable battles, varied battlefields and lots of specializations, Blackguards is one of the most diverse strategy games lately, but it high degree of randomness can be frustrating.

It’s a unique but half-baked attempt to convert the Star Trek license into an online game. For Star Trek fans this game is still something very special, but it will need regular updates to keep the players motivated.

The successor to Faces of War (2006) has some useful innovations on offer, but is mainly about one thing: hard-core battles of WW2. It's exceptionally difficult, but not unfair. Veterans will enjoy using the innumerable amount of tactical options at hand. There's a multi-player mode for LAN and Internet for up to 16 players and a co-op mode for up to 3 players, too.

It's a fascinating and moving paper chase, but having to walk around so much is quite annoying.

It's hard to understand why they haven't managed to solve the technical problems. If you don't mind the stuttering, the game is a lot of fun, especially with four players. But it's probably worth waiting for a patch.

At its core lies a solid slow game that knows how to shine, especially with its multi-story levels, the multi-paths and Styx 'Goblin arsenal.

A thrilling horror game that loses its effect some time after the great beginning and thus falls behind the first game.

A fresh and funny indie game. A real little gem, though not without flaws, but with lots of virtues missing from most blockbuster titles: charm, comedy and imagination- for a low price.

This one is hard to judge. It's annoying to play the same mission again and again and not being able to advance or when AI soldiers ignore orders. But then the careful planning and being able to finally complete a mission after several tries... that's very satisfying.

Renegade Ops doesn't care much about story or tactics, but it's a good over-the-top and simple action game with a great presentation. And it's not expensive either.

It's a great game, but only on consoles. It's a real shame how such a masterpiece gets torn apart because of technical problems and developers taking quality assurance and porting to PC to lightly.

It's an interesting scenario and the fight's are really challenging. With five new character levels, new perks, weird weapons and a huge world to explore it's a good DLC and worth its money.

The game is finished and at least sometimes it' even possible to buy additional content. As far as the shop problems go, it almost seems fitting that the game is called LoL. Still, the fast battles between the heroes are highly motivating.

It's like the 2007 game Dungeon Runners, just bigger and less self-deprecating. There is no great story, but who cares if it's free and fills the gap until Diablo 3 is finished.
