Critic Score 40
We get the feeling that this is more of a late cash-in than an attempt to bring innovation and enjoyable gaming to the modern pre-nuclear holocaust (and mercifully Radscorpion-free) world. -

-
Critic Score 40
The control system is well thought out with each button throwing a particular punch, but forget any tactical or statistical considerations before entering the ring. -

Critic Score 40
Gamestyle found it laughable that this rogue superhero couldn’t jump onto a small ledge simply because it was deemed unnecessary – each time Wolverine was knocked back by an invisible force. -

Critic Score 40
Fights soon degenerate into a short-range melee where you slug it out with blows and the occasional throw move. There is no balance, and button-bashers will feel right at home as you soon realise there is little room for tactics or skill. -
-
-
Critic Score 40
The combat system is extremely shallow, and Gamestyle can find little in depth to favourably commend it. -

Critic Score 40
For those looking for an actual fighting game and not a license, I would suggest extreme caution because this one is quite simply for the fans. -

There is nothing ultimately redeeming about Medal of Honor: Rising Sun - because ultimately it marks the lowest point in the series. -

Critic Score 40
Regardless of the strong visuals and design, Ghosthunter only feels like a half-hearted attempt, and a flawed one at that. -

Critic Score 40
A little less presentation and a lot more effort on the game experience itself would have saved this cat at least some of its nine lives. -

Critic Score 40
Formulaic, stitched together and delivered bang on time for Christmas, it's hard not to view this as anything other than a cold turkey that won't be enjoyed during the festive period. -

Critic Score 40
There are far better games out there (without a licence attached) that will yield far broader smiles. -

The Matrix: Path of Neo does have its moments - but these are limited by the restraints of the medium. In the trilogy, Neo could do almost anything, which included manipulation of time itself. Transferring these abilities in-game has been problematic, and the engine simply can't cope with all of Neo's talents. -

Critic Score 40
End-of-area bosses helpfully announce their weaknesses at the beginning of encounters, coin-laden paths dot their way around levels, and there is always a mammalian helper ready and willing to explain the use of contraptions. -

Sadly Drakengard 2 is a crushing disappointment, even to those that managed to tolerate the first instalment. -

Gamestyle can see the appeal that Curious George may have for very young gamers who are fans of the film or television series, but anyone else (or children who have grown up with gaming) will become bored very quickly. -

With a next-gen sequel due within the year and Call of Duty 3 providing a comprehensively better experience, why bother wasting your time and money? -

Critic Score 40
Fabulous graphics can only do so much damage limitation in the face of so many fundamental design flaws. -

Critic Score 40
Even without the long loading times the gameplay is poor - how many games can you name with a control system much too complicated but with almost no depth? -

Over the Hedge is a game that could have very well changed our perception of what to expect in these kids' movie tie-ins; however, after a promising start, it soon became apparent that we were still heading into an average and linear experience, and that's ultimately all that's on offer here. -

Shamefully when Jericho is finished there are no other modes to speak of. This is very disappointing as an online or co-operative mode would have been interesting with the occult backdrop and powers. -

So the answer is that there is no worthwhile experience in Rapala Tournament Fishing to be discovered. -

So it’s not a great compendium, but does come with a remote, so that’s a bonus (especially for multiplayer games of Wii Sports with your non-Wii owning friends). -

Sadly, Bladestorm isn’t an improvement on the Warriors games. An awkward mish-mash of action and strategy, which fails to succeed on either count. The combat is monotonous and the strategy underdeveloped. One to avoid. -

If only there were additional modes outside of the main story, but Heatseeker only offers the option to go back to a selected mission. That means a frustratingly limited experience that offers no multi-player aspect or freeform or mini-game modes to unleash some potential. -

Wing Island is another visual disappointment for the Wii and without the strong foundation of game play; the graphics are even more obvious. -

So all in all, with the impressive Double Dragon Advance being available since 2003, an arcade perfect version of the original was never going to wow today's audience, even with it's HD graphics & online co-op options. -

Boogie deserves to be a much better game. The excellent presentation hides a restrictive and basic control system that destroys any fun that might have been had while playing it. -

Critic Score 40
Throw in several unimaginative bosses, haphazard animation and you have a release that even the polished presentation or monologue from Bruce Campbell fails to drag back into the realm of respectability. -

It is just unfortunate that SCEE have not built upon a unique puzzle opportunity, instead content to ship out something that will long term only appeal to the youngest of players. -
