Torino 2006 doesn't come close to bringing gamers a true sense of what the winter games are all about nor will they feel like this is a game that makes even the dullest events seem fun.

Nintendo may have had the best intentions with Wii Music. Their aim to create software anyone can pick up and play is shared by most publishers within the game industry. But there are limits to how simple a game can be before it stops being fun.

EA Mobile didn't really push to make Boggle a unique experience on the iPad like they did with Scrabble. It would benefit greatly if there were an iPhone download to input your letters so anyone playing could do so at the same time, not one at a time.

Fans of Edgar Allan Poe or those who like a "twist" to historical fact might find Midnight Mysteries to their liking, but it's hard to recommend the game to anyone else.

Poorly conceived and quite dull in nearly every way, Golden Axe: Beast Rider is one of those missed opportunities that could have brought the series to a new generation of gamers. Instead it takes a linear route that makes this a game even Golden Axe fans will certainly want to avoid.

Don't let Vampire Moon's budget price entice you. At the end of the day, this bogged-down adventure game lacks the kind of bite a good vampire tale needs.

A linear, uninventive and utterly boring action game from start to finish, the splatter-fest that is Onechanbara makes us wonder how a game with bikinis this skimpy could be a very bad thing. I like a good hack-and-slash action game but this Bikini Samurai Squad makes mindless fun feel really quite unentertaining.

Spelunker HD will have you giving up way before finding any great treasure deep down in the creepy mines. If anything, this latest retro remake is a reminder that not every classic game deserves an HD makeover.

Far more infuriating than entertaining. RPG fans can find plenty of alternatives.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is not a good DS game by any account. There's no effort behind it, the storytelling is weak, and the presentation is some of the least inspired on the handheld.

Unbound Saga has a tempting premise and a snazzy style, complete with visual sound effects, but the brawling action can't hold a candle to Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, or even Turtles in Time Re-Shelled. As a fan of the genre, it saddens me to say that the best thing about Unbound Saga is the unusually cool soundtrack.

The idea that looked good on paper translated into unfair challenge and highly monotonous gameplay on the screen. Sanctum of Slime will have you reminiscing about the days when the Ghostbusters franchise meant good films, not lousy video games.

Bronze would be a lot easier to recommend if it were a $1-5 download on a phone service. Despite its very narrow boundaries, the game plays fine and is mildly entertaining in short bursts. At its current price, however, Bronze ends up looking (on platforms with such vastly superior offerings) like a historical footnote, at best.

The gameplay in Wrestlemania XXI is lousy, with unresponsive controls, boneheaded AI, and frustrating hit-detection issues, making the game absolutely no fun to play.

Quantum Theory looks and feels like an anime-inspired fan mod of Gears of War 1. While I'm a devout supporter of doing things right the first time, I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel that steps up its game, makes better use of Filena, and learns from the critical feedback the original received (which is nearly insurmountable at this point).

If you’re looking for another Wii Sports, stop. You won’t find it, and it certainly won’t be under the guise of a Winter Sports title. As much fun as tumbling down a ski slope, this snowy sequel epitomizes Wii mediocrity.

The best advice to any gamer looking for their next Kinect title from the small library of quality titles is to avoid MotionSports. Here's hoping that the team can take what they learned here and have time to build a sequel that carries out their agenda and also controls well.
