The IL2 series is known for its high realism, also the latest part Birds of Prey. Easy to learn, but hard to handle. Good that there is also an arcade mode.

To make it short: Armed Assault 2 is a fantastic game which contains elements of flight simulators, tactic-shooters and strategy- games. This title rocks!

The new part of the Fifa family makes everything right! The graphic effects, the controller configuration, the licenses and the great atmosphere! Enjoy it!

For many people Heavy Rain won’t be more than a progression of quick-time-events, but for me this game has everything a great game needs. The thrilling story, the beautiful graphics and the innovative controls will let you play on and on, till you just can’t look any longer into your TV.

There isn’t any better puzzle game out there. You have to buy it, if you want a great masterpiece.

Sid Meier's Civilization V is definitely a great sequel of the last Civilization games. It comes up with cool graphics, nice background music, and some really awesome gameplay with the well known Sid Meier's addictiveness.

FIFA 11 has taken a step forward to a better football simulation on PC: It comes up with better graphics, better gameplay, and again with a lot of licenses from different players and football clubs.

When it's all said and done, L.A. Noire is the game Heavy Rain wanted to be. Both games tell a tremendous story, guide the player, are entertaining for a broad audience as well, and at the very end, both games are milestones that move the video game world forward.

Forza Motorsport 4 offers great racing action for controller users, in addition to a weak, thus pointless, Kinect racing mode. Autovista on the other hand is a brilliant Kinect bonus feature highlighting the sensor's potential. Brilliant physics engine, great looks and an incredible selection of cars make Forza Motorsport 4 a must-buy for Xbox 360 racing fans.

WWE '12 offers fans an incredibly intense experience. The Predator technology, the great camera work and presentation, the Wake-Up Taunts and the huge roster are just a few of the many awesome improvements.

The year 2012 just started and with Resident Evil: Revelations, we already have a candidate for the title 3DS game of the year. The graphics, sound and atmosphere are simply stunning and the gameplay will thrill the player for hours.

Forza Horizon in many aspects orients itself towards the predecessor. But the open world and the festival the game revolves around is incredibly entertaining. Brilliant graphics and the sound of roaring engines round out a great racing game.

NBA 2K13 again delivers by far the best presentation of all sports games. The realistic animations let you think one could really see a live NBA game. The commentators and the great audience are also a big part of the game's atmosphere. The change from the shot-stick to a dribble- and shot-stick is amazing and gives the player the chance to play like a real NBA pro. 2K Games and Visual Concepts again deliver the sports game of the year.

Halo 4 had the potential to be one of the best games of all time. The graphics are amazing and full of details, the soundtrack is outstanding and the story is epic and breathtaking till the last minute. The problem is that the game is just way too short. I mean it really is done in less than 10 hours. It's still worth every penny and is probably the best part of the series.

WWE '13 is awesome and that's the bottom line cause the editor said so. Even if Yukes still didn't managed to create handsome faces, the positive sides definitely outweigh the negative sides of the World Wrestling Entertainment. All in all, there is more content, more wrestlers and especially a brilliant history lesson regarding the "Attitude Era" instead of a lame Road to Wrestlemania.

Lara Croft's comeback is simply stunning. The cinematic gameplay, its atmosphere and the "LOST resembling" environments are great, while the multiplayer is a nice-to-have goodie. The game is let down just a little by its German localization and Lara's redundant squad members. Nevertheless, in my opinion it's the best game in 2013 so far.

This prequel isn't just a visual delicacy. Gameplay-wise it reaches heaven-like levels. We especially enjoyed the Declassified missions. And although the single-player suffers from some minor AI issues, the co-op mode manages to satisfy.

Rock Band provides long-term motivation and fun for up to four players, provided that you don’t get caught in the pile of cables, which are necessary to play the game.

The idea around the Sackboy is great - and the gameplay also - easy and intuitive. A game for the young and the old, which can also be a competitor for the Wii.

Dead Space was worth the wait. The atmosphere is great, the action nice and tiny mistakes can be discovered only at third sight. Fans of the horror genre will sit in the dark and play all night long.

Let‘s bring up the facts: Brütal Legend is unique, has great music, is fun as hell and stars Jack Black! Aside from that, a great story about heavy metal, dreams and love awaits you - but don‘t forget to kick some ass. Simply brütal!

One can absolutely say that at the moment FIFA 09 is the best soccer game of all time. EA has learned from the negative criticism of last year. Adding many minor, but also major innovations, the title has once again taken over the scepter.

The huge story full of emotional moments, profound characters, unexpected turnarounds in combination with the amazingly beautiful graphic will entertain you for hours and hours.

Role-play at its best. Interactive communications, movie-like staging and visual effects bring down some fireworks on your TV-screen. Who is behind these Collectors and will Shepard be able to encounter the real enemy. You just wanna know.

Modern Warfare has no need to fear the comparison with a Hollywood blockbuster. You wouldn't find a game that keeps so in touch and never let’s you go. You just have to go on like you were pulled by a rope.

I don’t know what to say … simply brilliant!

It’s very difficult again to say which game, PES 10 or FIFA 10, is better. My personal winner is PES 10 because the AI and the ball physic work just great!
