Scribblenauts Unlimited is not the game Wii U needed right now, nor that kind of production that can highlight the uniqueness of the new Nintendo hardware... nonetheless, it’s a funny language laboratory and a clever gaming workshop. The Gamepad allows for some sharing between who’s playing and the ones sitting along on the sofa, making 5th Cell effort a good choice for some evening sessions between friends and relatives.- Posted Feb 11, 2013

Skulls of the Shogun is a well developed and very fun strategy videogame. Too bad it lacks of a higher degree of challenge and contains some tedious missions, yet it compensates with a slick and elegant gameplay, nice humor and an interesting multiplayer offering.- Posted Feb 11, 2013

Ascension is exactly the God of War you'd expect: colossal in its scale, technically majestic, insanely gruesome and fun to play. A huge production that shows the brute horsepower of the PS3, while denoting the weaknesses of a series that has reached its peak and needs a breathe of fresh air.- Posted Mar 14, 2013

Refined, mad and really rich in contents, BattleBlock Theater is a well developed platform game which may satisfy both players looking for a solitary experience and others willing to apply for entertaining multiplayer sessions.- Posted Apr 13, 2013

Behind the lucha libre galore there's a solid action-game, with polished core mechanics, stunning visuals and a beautiful “old school” feeling. Lacking the perfection and the sense of loneliness of Super Metroid, Gaucamelee! may be too easy for a seasoned gamer. Beside that, it's fun and addictive.- Posted Apr 15, 2013

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is another very good reason to own a 3DS. It's the same huge game you can play on Wii U, and local coop is a blast. Online support is laughable, but the game is still a wonder. Having to choose, though, the Wii U version is superior.- Posted Apr 21, 2013

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams on Xbox 360 is still a good nostalgic platform game that offers a nice challenge. Slightly longer loading times and the absence of the two free DLCs makes this version a bit less desirable, but still good for players that don't have a gaming PC.- Posted Apr 21, 2013

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has everything you would expect from a perfect DLC. It's different from the main game for atmosphere, settings and game world, it is durable, the price is fully justified and gameplay doesn't betray the original Far Cry 3 model.- Posted Apr 30, 2013

This series in growing with time and The Oracle is the best episode so far, fresh and even bold in the way it approaches narration and puzzles. If you liked the first two episodes, you definitely should get this one.- Posted May 19, 2013

Like the first episode, Anomaly 2 changes the point of view of tower defense genre, with cleverness and a wonderful game design. Blasting away tons of alien forces it's always fun: doing it using the brain, well, it's a different story.- Posted May 19, 2013

A new incarnation for an old - but smart - idea built around the two screens setup of Nintendo 3DS. It asks a bit too much in terms of unforgiving mechanics, especially considering that the two screens gameplay is pretty demanding by itself, but if you like a challenge.- Posted Feb 11, 2013

As good as the first episode, the game tries different roads and it goes forward with its mature, bloody, strong and maybe a bit too melodramatic take on procedural crime drama. Don't expect the kind of "choice and consequences" dynamics we experienced in Telltale Games, though.- Posted Feb 11, 2013

The game is enjoyable thanks to a very immediate arcade formula and to the good variety of missions in the single player campaign. The competitive multiplayer and co-op are fun, but some may find the overall game experience a little too simplistic and the plot, as well as the soundtrack, does not go beyond a good routine. At this price, however, it's a good deal.- Posted Feb 11, 2013

While maintaining all the colorful levels and the clever ideas of the Wii U version, Scribblenauts Unlimited on 3DS is in some way tamed by the absence of both the object editor and the Nintendo characters. Still, it’s a little funny game, with lots to explore and to experiment with.- Posted Feb 11, 2013

Strike Suit Zero has got some issues that keep it from being a must-buy, even for genre aficionados. It still is a pretty good game, with several highs and a good degree of challenge. There's also some replayability, even though it's tampered by the repetitive mission design.- Posted Feb 11, 2013

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is frankly a weird game, one that's not so easy to crack: excessively built around an eventually underwhelming concept, you'll never truly hate it, but you won't either love as much as you'd like to.- Posted Feb 19, 2013

Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 unleashes a tornado of ninja adrenaline that will strike the fans with all the power of its original story and artistic glory, even if some persistently unbalanced combat dynamics and roster incoherence will upset someone online. Thus said, not the perfect storm, yet.- Posted Mar 6, 2013

Thieves in Time slyly manages to broaden the horizons of its traditional platform gameplay adding lots and lots of mini-games, which become proper missions featuring a high number of different game mechanics, all (too) easy to play with and enjoy. With its old-school mechanics and feel, ShootMania Storm will be welcomed by all those players who are looking for a no-frills jump-and-gun experience. Simple and highly competitive, it might be a bit too hardcore for some, with its strong focus on the e-sport scene.- Posted Apr 26, 2013

In this Extended Edition Dreampainters has given a more professional look to Anna. Now the Italian adventure is also less cryptic and more understandable, although many plot points are still unclear and some puzzles must be solved again with a lot of trial & error.- Posted Apr 28, 2013

An interesting RPG, just like the original Dragon's Dogma. The new content and gameplay tweaks add to the experience, but the underlying faults of the game still stand. It's a beautiful idea and a very promising universe: we definitely look forward to a proper sequel.- Posted May 14, 2013

A very good game, with very good gameplay and a great soundtrack. It fits perfectly with the iPhone's (or iPad's) touchscreen. Sadly, the "freemium" aspect of the game is its Achille's heel, as added costs could lead the player to spend three times the whole price of the 3DS version.- Posted Feb 11, 2013

Akaneiro: Demon Hunters is not the best Action-RPG you will play in your life, but it’s still a decent game, if not good one. And it’s free. If you love the genre, chances are you can have fun with its simple gameplay. It’s worth a try.- Posted Feb 11, 2013

Special Forces: Team X lacks in style, but the precision of its core mechanics is undeniable. It's an interesting third person shooter, able to bring some fun even if it doesn't represent a step forward for the genre. A good effort that shows some flaws and bugs that need to be fixed as soon as possible.- Posted Feb 18, 2013
