If you enjoyed the original game or you're wanting a unique game for the Nintendo 3DS that not only showcases the console but gives the player a sturdy gaming experience, than Kid Icarus: Uprising is that game. It features a great story that is oozing with humour and some sturdy control and gaming mechanics with not only the Circle Pad Pro accessory but also the included stand that will change the way some gamers play.- Posted Apr 30, 2012

The virtual lands of World of Warcraft is getting a little long in the teeth but Mists of Pandaria with its lush forests, Asian inspired settings and new race will create this unique and entertaining gaming experience. In the end, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is a fun game that both adults and children alike will enjoy, provided you like to be challenged. For younger gamers, the title does contain a hint system but fortunately this can be ignored, although I must admit we may have used it once or twice. Mark of the Ninja is a refreshing approach to the stealth genre, which has seen its fair share of mediocre hybrids of stealth and action over the years. Although it might be a little frustrating as the difficulty level at the beginning of the game is set rather high, once you get the hang of the controls (which are a little awkward) and you've discovered the best ways to take out your enemies, it's an extremely enjoyable experience that warrants a second play through in order to discover all the possibilities.- Posted Nov 12, 2012

However, while Fuel Overdose has its flaws it is still a good deal for its money. If you can get over one map having clipping issues, ignore the sound, and not care about story (it's a racing game after all) then you should find a nice cheap game that provides a lot of fun entertainment. God of War Ascension contains all the bigger than Ben Hur gameplay from the series and is another enjoyable Kratos experience. However as this game happens before many key elements of Kratos story, it does feel a little smaller in terms of scope. For newcomers to the series, Darksiders II provides a satisfying gaming experience on the Nintendo Wii U. With fun gameplay and lots of challenges to be found along the way, the only thing holding back the title is the frame rate and loading times that can sometimes be an issue. So the game is all in all darn fun. Longtime fans may be disappointed though with the short campaign and long in the tooth engine. I feel it does the job well and soldiers on…. Final run down is there has been some touch ups done on graphics, though not enough to be noticeable to any huge degree; whatever it lacks in overall graphic pizzazz, it more than makes up for in the fun factor. I AM LIVE is an enthralling game that will draw you in from the very first few minutes that you start playing. Given the realism of the game, it can be quite frustrating, however this is the charm of the game as it opens up the title for quite a psychological ride that definitely challenges this genre, especially with how you interact with others from combat to conversations.- Posted Apr 22, 2012

In conclusion, Dragon Quest VI is pure Japanese RPG and harkens back to a simpler time of exploration, turn-based combat and characters that sometimes never stop talking... err... texting. The problem with Dragon Quest VI is that it doesn't offer the player anything new in terms of new gameplay which is like playing a similar game of this genre 5 or 10 years ago. The latest incarnation of Tetris is a mixed bag but for some reason, I just wanted to play and play. It's quite addictive and the new One-Touch and Galaxy modes are very good. It's a shame that EA have put currency in the forefront of this game because there are just too many costs associated with this title.- Posted Dec 12, 2011

With the PS3 version being far superior, the Vita version is only for those who do not own their home console brother as on the Vita it's fun but not great due to the frustration factor.- Posted Jan 14, 2013

At the end of the day, I dearly wanted to like Alpha Protocol, especially after some of the cool trailers and hype over the year. The game definitely needed more refining to smooth out the gameplay and how Thorton interacts with his environment, including some of the graphical issues. -

At the end of the day, Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals is an interesting third-party Nintendo DS game that we would definitely recommend to lovers of Japanese RPG fans, due to the extensive dialogue and reminiscent gameplay to titles such as Final Fantasy and Pokémon. -
