Whether you rent it, borrow it, buy it or visit a friend that owns it, you should play Child of Eden.- Posted Jul 15, 2011

I was not totally disappointed with Fight Night Round 3, but I did walk away feeling like something was missing. -

A joyous return to form for the series that makes us very excited about what's in store for future episodes. It's great to have Sonic back, it's just a shame it's all over so quickly.- Posted Oct 21, 2010

A fast, flashy, exhilarating fighter that largely manages to combine aesthetic wizardry with technical gameplay. High-level SFIV players are unlikely to be won over but everyone else should be suitably impressed.- Posted Feb 21, 2011

Torchlight is a brilliantly crafted RPG that has survived the PC-to-360 porting process incredibly well. The usual awkward console-RPG menu systems are present and correct but the game's charm, depth and sense of fun more than make up for any such issues.- Posted Mar 17, 2011

An aggressive, untamed racer that delights in depicting carnage as viscerally as possible. Pitched somewhere between 'arcade' and 'sim', Unleashed may lack a clear identity but it certainly doesn't lack excitement and, as a result, is an ultimately rewarding experience.- Posted Apr 4, 2011

One of the most amusing and cheerful games I've seen since... well, Psychonauts. Easy to play, but very, very hard to put down.- Posted Oct 21, 2010

A visual feast that's a joy to play in multiplayer but fails to impress to the same degree in single player. Its campaign is competent and technically impressive but ultimately forgettable. Get it for the multiplayer.- Posted Mar 1, 2011

Frustratingly hard at times, and very unforgiving. If you aren’t the type of person who can resist the urge to break your PS2 controller if you have to play the same 20 minutes of a level over and over because the boss kills you right before he’s about to die, you may want to stay clear of this one. -

While breaking absolutely zero new ground for its genre, Ground Control II’s single player gameplay is solid all around. -

The pick-up-and-play nature and the level of attention paid to graphics, sound and story truly make this worth every penny, especially considering this title costs less than 20 dollars (US). -

Not a game that's best suited to the PSP but, if you can look past its refusal to adapt itself to a handheld console, The 3rd Birthday is a rich, engaging experience.- Posted Mar 29, 2011

Mortal Kombat is not a game that will satisfy beat 'em up enthusiasts for long – it doesn't have the required depth and there are too many momentum swinging variables that prevent skilled players from achieving the winning percentage they deserve. For everyone else though, it's a whole lot of fun. It's silly. It's crude. It's easy to learn. And, as a result, it's eminently charming and easy to like.- Posted May 5, 2011

A fun ride while it lasts and an interesting take on the standard arcade racer formula. The story-based campaign mode can feel limiting and immature at times but, once you get out on the track, the sheer amount of action taking place at any given moment generally makes up for up.- Posted Mar 10, 2011

An accomplished racer aimed squarely at fans of the sport. Despite the high speeds and death-defying leans into the corners, MotoGP 10/11 is a game that's about precision and technique first, thrills and excitement second. If you've got the patience to master it, there's a deep, satisfying experience to be had.- Posted Mar 21, 2011

Cargo! is a little on the short side (I finished it in five hours and probably could've improved on that), but it delights and surprises at every turn as it propels you through its frankly baffling narrative. Much like Ice-Pick Lodge themselves, you'll never quite be able to predict what it's going to throw at you next.- Posted Apr 29, 2011

A word of caution should probably be added; the overall pace of Manhunt is rather slow. This is in keeping with the overall feel of the game and somewhat necessary for development of the linear story line. -

There are a few bugs that should have been ironed out pre-release but nothing significant enough to take away from the core gameplay. This hack-n-slash is a must have for any RPG lover. -

A breath of fresh air in the adventure genre. Considering the level of detail that has gone into its design, the exceptional musical score, an overall enjoyable pace, a good story, over 40 hours of gameplay and 2 possible endings, this a title worth owning. -

One of the most involving space sims released for a while and it's only let down by a complex and rough interface design and the dodgy voice acting. -

The simplistic nature of the game can also turn off many hardcore gamers and the length and difficulty of the game may seem a bit short and easy. -

All in all this is a fun game, while most flight simulators are difficult to fly you can easily pick this game up and be shouting 'chocks away' before you know it. Some people may find it a little short but it's got re-play value on the higher difficulty setting. -

In the strict application, and importance, of strategy in regard to your success, Rome: Total War is to most other strategy games what chess is to tic-tac-toe. Far from flawless, Rome is, unquestionably, an enjoyable and immersive game. -

By no means an essential purchase, Van Helsing is decidedly better than the average. If you’re into cool moves and lots of action, you’re going to enjoy this. We’d stake our reputations on it. -
