An absolute keeper for anybody looking for short bursts of entertainment on their portable machines, just in case the world around you seems to be fairly uneventful.

The design and layout are well conceived and pulled off convincingly with the highly stylized cel-shaded world. The levels are large, well-populated and fully active.

It's as good as its nearest competition, "Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance," and in certain instances, like the deep realism and stronger focus on the action rather than story, is a better game.

It throws out so many references to the source material and stories written by the author that fans can't help but feel the wait has been justified.

The story and scenario presentation is more than enough to keep you playing through Half-life 2.

The sequel that will give fans more of what they enjoyed about the first game. Improvements are only minor, but they manage to compliment what was an already excellent package.

The game just hooks you from the beginning and never lets go.

With X-Men Legends, fans of the series will finally get a next-gen action RPG worth their time and effort. As an action RPG without the license, X-Men Legends is still a great effort, worth your time and notice.

If there's anything that can be held against Republic Commando, it's that the main story is short and doesn't have all that strong of an overarching story. Fortunately, the gameplay and audio package makes the overall experience worth the time and effort. Republic Commando is certainly one of the better Star Wars games to come out this generation.

Its humorous, has a good plot, a good mix of different characters and is just a fun game. So sit down, relax and enjoy the game just try not to pull your hair out from the puzzles.

The inherent humor and healthy challenge should serve most platform fans nicely.

If you enjoy the BioWare style of RPG, then a purchase of this game is a no-brainer.

Usually a game with no multiplayer and running a little bit on the short side, I would have a hard time suggesting buying, but Escape From Butcher Bay is put together so well that a purchase is well worth it for anyone who enjoys first person shooters or action titles of any kind.

An excellent offering that takes the sandbox gameplay and makes it work without taking Grand Theft Auto's formula and repackage it's theme.

Heck, you should just play this game for the comic-book styled cutscenes alone. Good thing there's a good game in here as well.

A damn good game that takes all the best parts of the original and makes them better. If you're looking for a great action shooter that has a finely crafted and delivered story, then look no further.

A mighty adventure that takes a slow start but picks up and never stops.

The only other problem I found with the game was the challenge that the in-game camera presents. Often, you will find yourself using the camera buttons a lot to move the camera so you can see everything in the environment.

It's downright fun and you'll find yourself having a hard time pulling yourself away from it. While the single-player feels a little underdeveloped, you will play it enough to unlock the fun mini-games.

What sets this apart from all other racing games is the immense speed of the game, which will make you dizzy sometimes, and the fact that there are 29 people racing against you.

If your looking for a good mature action/ adventure game that makes you think in more ways then one, do yourself a favor and pick up Killer 7.

While some may complain that the game is technically short, where the strength of the game lies is in its replayability. Shooter fans will be addicted by the game, which beckons multiple play-throughs just to improve their score and hopefully their internet ranking.

While I can not vouch for the accuracy of this digital version of Los Angeles, I will say that's quite an impressive feat to be able to drive around such a convincing environment, littered with cars and pedestrians.

Easy to pick up and get into, and the controls are sharp and responsive. While the main game will take most around 8 to 10 hours to beat, there are more than enough secrets to find to make it worth your effort to go back for more.

The 2-player aspect of the game is limited by the poor field of view (which would have been better handled with an i-link and two TVs), but the single player mode is serious futuristic racing at it's best.

While it is easily one of the most comprehensive and visually solid racing games to date, I found the fact that it's basically a repackaged "Gran Turismo 2" a little hard to swallow. If you can look past that, this is the game for you.

It's the Simpsons theme that gives it so much spunk and even though you can't kill people the game is still a blast to play.

As is the problem with most games built with pre-rendered backgrounds, there are going to be a lot of times where the game camera is going to leave you open for cheap shots as you move from one angle to another.
