Alien Isolation is the best game adapted from the Ridley Scott masterpiece so far. The Creative Assembly have chosen the right way to use this IP in making it a tremendous survival, with both great artistic direction and atmosphere. The game takes the gamble to transform the player from hunter to prey, but it pays off as this setting gives birth to fear and stress. Exactly what you need to enjoy the terrific AI of the Alien which will be a real challenge for every experienced gamer.

More than 70 playable characters, some terrific graphics and amazing animations, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations is a huge fan service fighting game and the most complete of the Ninja storm franchise.

Stop worrying, this new Dante is one hell of a stylish demon killer. Ninja Theory has done a pretty wonderful job on the game's background to give a fresh start to this Capcom saga, thanks to a great work from their artists. But DmC clearly contains the old Devil May Cry DNA in its gameplay: nervous, brutal and brilliant. In spite of some approximations in the platform phases and some limits of the Unreal Engine, DmC is the perfect hybrid of new ideas and respect of the saga legacy.

Despite a disappointing ending, Left behind is a much needed DLC, be it only to know how Ellie was able to protect herself from the outside, after being a naïve girl. This behavior evolution is magnified by winter episodes that remind the player that The Last of Us's gameplay has not aged a bit. The multifaction combat is not revolutionary, but it does bring a fresh look at the combat system, and allows to save your ammo. Top end direction, excellent OST what are we upset about Left Behind? Reading the American Dreams comic offers a very different flavor, and the crappy ending really ruins the lot.

Coming back on stage and choosing the 3DS fort that is probably Nintendo's best idea, and they can be proud of this Kid Icarus, one of the best games of the 3DS 2012 line-up.

With a certain lack of new games since the launch of the PS4, there was some pressure on inFAMOUS Second Son. This new installment is the first in the series to become a symbol of a new generation of consoles. If the game isn't error-free, it's also exhilarating once you get a rather large range of super-powers. Like the former episodes, Second Son offers a very powerful feeling of freedom. Added to beautiful visuals that generate lighting and particle effects all over the place, you can say InFAMOUS Second Son is the handsome guy of the PS4.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist wanted to go back to basics. By throwing a handful of RPG elements into the games, Ubisoft signs a great Splinter Cell that in spite of some faults, is a rightful heir to the franchise. Without revolutionizing the genre, it should seduce without trouble any lover of the genre or any fan of infiltration games. Powered with a powerful scenario and a well known graphics engine, Tom Clancy's franchise hands back a clean work without revolution but with enough evolutions to please the gamers.

Like last year's bundle, Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMix is a pretty neat game that brings two new episodes on the PS3. With a huge content and a clean technical aspect, this is another hit for Square Enix that could even make players forget about their endless wait for Kingdom Hearts 3.

After one year and thee add-ons, Destiny finally went to where we expected it to be when it released in 2014, but as Activision and Bungie need to keep the IP alive for a decade, we'll have to make do with very rare releases for future content.

Payday 2 is undoubtedly the biggest surprise of august 2013. We were not expecting a game of such a quality from Overkill Software, moreover if you experienced the first episode of the serie. Even the price of 30 euros was leaving us skeptical, but Payday 2 hacks your brains with its intense and addictive gameplay. It's simple and it works, outpacing the ad's promises. With an almost unlimited replayability, payday 2 will challenge your brains with multitasking between a heist to manage, a team to keep alive and hordes of aggressive copas. Simply brilliant!

Super Mario 3D World is using mechanics from another century, but is Nintendo to blame if old recipes still work? The risk-taking stays minimal, and the core gamers will mostly enjoy the two last worlds in spite of a difficulty level that has improved significantly. Impossible to forget the level design and the precision of the gameplay, which defines the game. Even the multiplayer mode is good in spite of some camera problems. Nintendo set everything to perfection and most players should enjoy this Super Mario 3D World.

DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition admirably brings Ninja Theory's reboot from 2013 to PS4 and Xbox One. The 1080p definition and 60fps sublimates the gameplay, making it even more nervous. The right way to take on the new challenges the game has to offer.

The main attraction in Titanfall remains the gameplay. On this side, there is no doubt that Respawn did a really great job. It's excellent, handy even with the profusion of possibilities. The parts of the game you play in Titans and you play on your feet are very well-balanced as well. However, it's difficult to hide the small number of modes and their lack of originality.

If Nintendo refuses to start developing new licenses, it's only because the firm already has enough talent to efficiently renew it's existing ones with a success others have yet to match. Luigi's Mansion 2 is a perfect example of this pattern as Luigi's new adventures in haunted houses hack your mind like drugs once the player understands the finer points of the game. The gameplay has a great finesse which is very enjoyable and the directing along the general atmosphere are almost a masterpiece. Of course the lack of a second controlling stick is not the best feature of the game and we would have liked a multiplayer mode with more rhythm. But the number of qualities provided by Luigi's Mansion 2 makes this game a classic of the 3DS lineup.

Zandatsu is quite a good symbol for this Metal Gear Rising Revengeance : a development divided, fragmented but a game that is highly efficient. Very short indeed, you can see it suffered from this change of direction. Nevertheless, with such a turbulent life, Rising manages to give players a rare and intensive game experience. Definitely, it's an Enfant Terrible, a Son of Liberty.

We expected a lot from Dead Space 3 and were not disappointed. The game keeps all its promises, with true moments of tension proving that Visceral Games hasn’t betrayed the Dead Space series. Horror is there, and we have never seen such violent Necromorphs. This perfect balance between action sequences and anguish is efficient, avoiding Dead Space 3 making the same mistake as Resident Evil 6. But we must be honest with the fans: if the next Dead Space has more action scenes, there will be reason to fear the worst. Since it’s not a perfect game, it’s important to highlight the poor cover system and the lack of boss fights. Although the deep weapon crafting system is likely to annoy the purists, Dead Space 3 remains a great experience you have to live.

Spec Ops The Line is a good TPS whose lack of originality regarding its gameplay mechanics can be easliy criticized. And yet, the title offers a great experience, depicting a bright and apocalyptic vision of Dubaï, just as if players were there. The mise-en-scène of Spec Ops The Line also manages to share, both psychologically and physically, the craziness experienced by our heroes. Finally, the classic multiplayer modes make us forget the short time needed to finish the main campaign.

It's nice to discover this brand new take on Lara Croft with this next-gen version. But there's nothing outstandingly new here to be fair. High framerate means obviously flawless gaming comfort and Lara's looking much better now. There is some extra content too, but if you bought the older version, there's no real reason to pay once again. Especially when it's full price.

At the end of the day, you can't find any big problems that could waste your game experience of Endless Space. Some might say that the battles aren't spectacular enough, the IA is too basic, or the graphic engine is very demanding. But it's nothing if you look at the long nights you'll spent managing your galactic empire. For this price, do not hesitate. End turn.

Football Manager 2015 is a nice refund for an inconsistent 2014 iteration. Sports Interactive takes a gamble with a reshuffled UI, but it clearly pays off as the game becomes more enjoyable to navigate. The manager profile is another great feature that deepen the bond between the player and his team. FM comes closer and closer to perfection.

Newborn strategists and skilled warlords will find what they're looking for. There is still one question, however: did Blizzard hold back enough new elements for the last expansion devoted to Protoss?

Republique Remastered is a very special game that's at peace with it's mobile gaming origins, and succeeds in bringing a very good game to the "grown up" PC world. The only drawback is the unknown tied to the lack of the 4th and 5th chapters, that should theoretically be released for free later. We can only hope they're as good as the first three existing chapters. Anyway, get your passport from this Republic: you won't regret it.

Fans of Versus Fighting or 2D fighting games in general, do not miss the gem called Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle, even if you don't know a thing about the series or the manga. Like Street Fighter 4, CyberConnect2's title will appeal to newbies and veterans alike thanks to its arcade stick and its smooth gameplay, but it's also filled with subtleties that require skill if you get into it. Top all this with brilliant direction (awesome graphics) and a base roster of 32 characters with many interesting game modes (besides the useless campaign mode which has a despicable business model) and you'll get an explosive mix. A very nice game to pick up while waiting for Ultra Street Fighter IV, set for this summer, and which is going to be another update of Capcom's fighting game.

CyberConnect2 has listened to fans' feedback for Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, and it was the right decision. The mistakes of Generations are behind now and we're offered a really good Story mode, even if you'll be only watching your screen most of the time. With a huge choice of characters and a still very efficient gameplay, Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is obviously the very best episode.
