An incremental sequel over the first game, OlliOlli 2: XL Edition doesn't take too many risks reusing the same old formula but with lots of new contents and a new local-only multiplayer mode. If you liked the first game, this won't disappoint.

A great reinvention of the classic adventure franchise with vivid visuals, a fresh gameplay and brilliant storytelling. Our unique issue was with the complete lack of localization, which makes it more difficult to recommend in our country: that's totally unexpected from a publisher like Activision/Sierra.

A frantic and very entertaining cooking game, but only if played in local co-op. Its single player mode feels too chaotic and frustrating, limiting the game's appeal to parties with friends.

Dead Rising 2: Case Zero offers us a great taste of what we'll find in Dead Rising 2, even if it ends up being too short.

An entertaining and well-thought-out game, adding interesting new elements to the famous Angry Birds formula.

If you never played MvC 3 and love fighting games, this is a recommended buy with a larger roster and more balanced gameplay. But if you already own the previous game, the added content isn't enough to justify the expense. The added fighters aren't charismatic enough and the new Galactus mode just feels like a gimmick. Nothing that couldn't be made with a simple DLC.

A frantic and fun top-down arcade racer, with lots of modes and great visuals but with an uninspired art design.

Headlander features some very inventive mechanics, with a satisfying metroidvania structure and a funny story; its fights aren't something to write home about though, and some puzzles are quite inscrutable resulting in a "click anywhere until you find something" routine.

Metro 2033 looks like a missed chance: it had all the premises to be a great game, but several flaws heavily undermine it, making it a sometimes frustrating experience.

A very good action game, with a great combat system an a brilliant set of characters. Unluckily this remaster edition doesn't add enough content to be really compelling to the ones who already played it in the past, so it's mainly recommended to those who skipped it originally.

Due to the original game age and a lack of substantial improvements, this is the most underwhelming of the three recent Resident Evil remasters. Suggested only to those who never played the game.

Not A Hero: Super Snazzy Edition offers great style and humor, but with a repetitive and not so brilliant gameplay.

NFS Rivals presents some good ideas, with a good enemy AI and bright visuals, but it gets partially ruined by an unstable frame rate and a general sense of repetitiveness in the game structure.

Except for the new intro anime sequence, there's nothing particularly interesting in ZoE HD Collection if you already played the games on PS2. If you never played them instead, it's surely a solid game with good controls and a nice anime feeling, but it didn't age quite well.

PayDay 2 sports an interesting concept but it isn't flawless: bad graphics and a very inappropriate AI keep it from showing its true potential. You should consider it only if you've got three friends to play with.

Very variegated tracks, many play modes and a good selection of boats make Hydro Thunder a good game, thanks to the online multiplayer too.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been a real surprise: its high levels of violence, enjoyable gameplay and good longevity make it overcome the average movie tie-ins crowd. Too bad its buggy and unpolished graphics keep it from reaching a better score.

If you're looking for a game to expressly play with your online friends, Evolve will please you with an innovative multiplayer experience. But its pretty generic and forgettable maps and overall lack of edge could tire you and your friends pretty quickly.

Kerbal Space Program amazes for the great freedom given to the player and the highly accurate physics simulation, but it unluckily stumbles on the porting aspect, with very uncomfortable controls and lots of bugs.

The game fails to marvel the player due to the absence of boss battles, exploration and QTEs, becoming a rather repetitive beat'em'up. Fans will however be pleased in finding inside both the anime series, with exclusive content from Studio Pierrot and a lot of characters to fight with.

Visually and artistically, The Flame in the Flood is one of the most fascinating experiences in recent months, but it sports a rather predictable and unoriginal gameplay. It's basically a classical survival game with crafting and resource management, but everything turns out to be quite boring on the long term, due to an excessive grinding too. Absolutely not a bad game and survival games lovers could appreciate it, but gameplay-wise it could have been more refined.

An arena shooter heavily influenced by 8 and 16-bit era games like Super Mario Bros., Smash Bros. and Street Fighter. Frenzied and funny, it shines in local multiplayer while the single player campaign proved to be overly short.

Even if still fun when managing mountains of zombies with crazy weapons of all kinds, Dead Rising 4 fails to diversify enough of its gameplay from the previous game, making even a backward step in the variety, graphics and overall charisma departments.

Characterized by an 80's look, Hyperdrive Massacre is a hectic and bizarre space car battle party game; with friends - and multiple controllers - at home it becomes very absorbing and thrilling, but otherwise it won't have much use due to lack of online multiplayer support.

A very singular game, coupling a good multiplayer with a forgettable and short single player campaign and, especially, a disappointing technical production if compared to Platinum Games standards. Thanks to its budget price and uniqueness could however be worth a buy if you’re looking for a different and furious brawler to pass some time with.
