    Even if 2D Super Mario Bros can't be the avant-garde of the video gaming world in 2009 as it was twenty years ago, it's still fun and entertaining as no other.     Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Sky is absolutely packed with content. Despite the lack of an unique plot and defined characters, fans of the genre will be pleased with such a polished gameplay. The visuals are brilliant and cheerful, probably one of Level 5's best efforts on Nintendo DS. Without any doubt the best RPG of this summer and on the system itself.

    The long and diverse single player campaign is only faulted by a too simple IA, but the technical achievements Crytek was able to get will probably make up for it for most of the gamers. Add to all of this, the complex and satisfactory multiplayer and what you'll get is one of the best FPS around, both on consoles and PC.

    The Beatles Rockband is the first rhythm game who'll have the chance to finally take over Karaokes from pubs and living rooms all over the world. No more impossible solos or songs that only Bruce Dickinson or Robert Plant can sing, but only a lot of fun for whomever will feel like grabbing a guitar or a microphone and sing songs almost everybody learned to love over the years. It's only about Beatles and it's a bit short, but if you get in the mood, it will last forever.

    World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is excellent but it's still the same kind of content we have played over and over. Players should not expect revolutionary ways to play the game, Blizzard knows well if ain't broken don't fix it and they managed to deliver once again a huge amount of highly designed content which will keep any kind of player busy in the months - if not years - to come. That said, there's not much to add: Cataclysm is the exact reason why World of Warcraft numbers ten millions accounts while other MMORPGs do not.

    If you were expecting a pale remake of the original GoldenEye, you might be happy to know that Eurocome overdid itself by developing one of the most interesting games of this year.
