It doesn't have Madden's depth, but then, it doesn't have Madden's Mt. Everest learning curve, either.

An excellent hockey video game. It sets a precedent for game mode depth. In particular, its dynasty mode is sick and twisted in terms of its Madden-esque depth.

It's not just intuitive to wave your hands around to play football, but it's also fun. Throwing the ball and seeing the motion echoed on-screen can give a huge sense of empowerment.

Heron: Steam Machine is an enjoyable puzzle game and sits well with its many compatriots on the WiiWare service.

Using the pixels of the past, Inti Creates has made Mega Man 9 a title that easily stacks up with the franchise’s greats, such as Mega Man 2 or Mega Man 3.

Combining the classic play mechanics that made the classic series so addictive and a new set of team-based skills, this is probably the most in-depth Sonic title yet.

These mini-games are one of the only things about Wario Land 4 that I didn't like. In a nutshell, they're repetitive and don't give enough money. Plus, the mini-games are limited in their fun factor.

Some would argue that "Winning Eleven" on the PS2 would make a better game, but FIFA just has the unique style, flair and production value that Konami can’t seem to pick up on.

A must own title for your Game Boy Advance. It's the perfect traveling game even though the story mode is over quickly.

It looks and sounds fantastic, its core gameplay is remarkably addictive, and there is plenty of game to last for quite some time. Unfortunately, major design issues severely damage much of the fun the game has to offer.

You've got an awesome fantasy setting (which is really well realised), two characters with original and familiar styles of play, platforming, awesome visuals, 20-hours of gameplay, and something that The Wind Waker didn't have; A decent challenge.

Sports a free roaming city where you can drive around wherever you'd like across 125 miles. This is the biggest of its kind for a racing game and, once again, transfers to this genre spectacularly.

A very ambitious game and would have been a SPECTACULAR title if it was on a larger cartridge and more time was put into tweaking it. What Body Harvest does well however is setting the mood. At its best, the game makes the movie Aliens look tame.

The patches make the game more fun, less difficult (if needed), and surprisingly much better. If only some other publishers could learn from this example, ports may not be so bad after all!

Fast paced and accessible to everyone. Nintendo of America were mad to consider not releasing this game in the US. Any doubts about it's quality should be cast out of your mind. It's fun, addictive and it's got a superb multi-player mode.
