Every inch of this game just screams adorable and sometimes it's just too much to take…in a good way, of course.

I love every part of this game, and the benefits of this Wii U version are easy to appreciate.

A visual and aural masterpiece. The game has all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a next-generation game including bump mapping and 480p support on the visual end, and five channel surround sound via Dolby Pro Logic II on the aural end.

Nintendo fans have a right to be excited about any main-series Final Fantasy game coming to their systems, but this excellent two-pack is simply irresistible, a must-have for any handheld RPG fan.

With a large variety of extra collectibles, four-player simultaneous multiplayer, single-player trophy achievements, a level editor, and three difficulty settings, Marble Saga: Kororinpa is a huge offering in a tiny package.

About as perfect as an arcade racing game can be.

This game is outstanding. I would even recommend it above some of the console versions of Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf, for the simple fact that it's tailored so perfectly for a handheld system.

This is by far the best one yet and is probably the best Spider-Man game, period, of the last few years.

If you can get behind the notion of old school difficulty and adore the WarioWare formula, NES Remix will hit all the right notes.

An excellent strategy game with many interesting mechanics that make it unique in the DS library. Tri-Ace did a fantastic job of blending in various elements of the Valkyrie Profile series and successfully applying those elements into this genre.

Without a doubt the most notable game on DSiWare to date and probably the best. It is full of fun and strategy and has tons of replayability, even without the level editing and sharing. If you own a DSi, this is a must.

Minor issues aside, escapeVektor still packs a lot; in addition to the story and online leaderboards, the game features a variety of achievement-like badges, and every level has four high score medals.

Final Fantasy VI Advance is the last Game Boy Advance game from Square-Enix and Nintendo, but this classic game is a great way to say goodbye to a system.

I would be remiss to close this review without mentioning the fantastic music of F-Zero GP Legend. You like classic F-Zero Tunes? They are all here, except Death Wind. Like some of F-Zero X’s music? Some of that is here too. Want to hear new stuff? You’re golden. It is still a pleasure to listen to F-Zero’s music.

Tappingo 2 should not be missed by 3DS puzzle game fans, especially those who like Picross. This is an excellent choice for those looking for something to add a little variety to their 3DS library.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is both a great entry in the Kingdom Hearts series and a great 3DS game. The story flaws may distract some, but the remainder of the game is worthwhile.

You’ll be doing things in Specter of Torment that literally make you say “wow” out loud. It’s a smooth, expertly-crafted platformer filled with heart. Again, it’s a free update to your Wii U and 3DS versions so there’s no reason not to play it. For Switch users, it’s absolutely worth experiencing, as is the rest of the Treasure Trove.

With zany characters and gameplay and a low barrier to entry, TVC is fantastic for the fighting game novice. On the other hand, there is also a deep fighting system for veteran fighter fans along with a solid online setup. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars is an amazing 2D fighting game that is tailor-made for the Wii and its audience.

The size and pliability of the Final Fantasy music library ultimately allows for the game's extensive and difficulty spanning interpretations of each track, and fosters as fulfilling an experience as almost anything else on the 3DS.

de Blob is defined by its pure unadulterated fun. While it doesn't have the best platforming, the most complicated puzzles, or the most involved action mechanics, as a whole it's something to behold.

Regardless of price or underwhelming extra features, this is an excellent and authentic port of my personal favorite game of all time, and one I would recommend to virtually anyone. If you can read, you should play Chrono Trigger, and the new DS version is an accessible way to do that.

Super Mario Run is fun and it seems to be perfectly representative of Nintendo’s mobile plans: provide a taste that potentially leads players to their consoles. This isn’t a grand, deep experience, but it has enough inventive twists on Mario platforming to remain fun for a few hours. We’ll check in next week and land on a score.
