A sequel done right. It deals with the original's issues and adds features to keep things fresh.- Posted Oct 22, 2010

Black Ops on Wii is a fantastic shooter packed with all the features of its HD brothers, with the only exception being split-screen multiplayer.- Posted Nov 9, 2010

Let's face it, there's probably many Wii owners who don't actually use their Wii online and probably don't even know about the Virtual Console service. For these people, this is their first chance to play the Mario games they knew and loved 20 years ago. They're still as good as we remember them...- Posted Dec 15, 2010

It was going to be hard to do the original justice, but this remake does and then some. [Christmas 2010, p.68]Posted Dec 31, 2010 -

Not a major overhaul of Mario vs. DK, just a few tweaks to make this the best in the series yet. [Feb 2011, p.88]- Posted Feb 1, 2011

A fantastic experience from start to finish. It is a game that truly expands what narrative video games can be capable of, and does so with a engrossing story that draws players in until the very end, all six of them.- Posted May 11, 2011

The result is another mesmerising entry to the series. There's little incentive to replay it after you've finished, but it's one of the most enjoyable narrative rides in gaming today, and it burns bright and strong while it lasts.- Posted Nov 23, 2011

The very definition of bitter-sweet, giving with one hand and then taking away with the other. By default it's the best side-scrolling platformer on the 3DS and yes, it's even better than the original New Super Mario Bros. But that came out six years ago now, and in that time we'd really expected the series to have progressed a little further than just a 3D effect and Coin Rush mode.- Posted Jul 30, 2012

Matching experimentation with (almost) consistently brilliant gameplay, this is as much a marker for what's to come as it is a truly excellent launch game.- Posted Nov 27, 2012

A massively entertaining racer that grabs and runs with the power of the WiiU. It's tough, but we're Nintendo gamers. We eat tough for breakfast. [Apr 2013, p.80]- Posted Mar 15, 2013

This has overtaken "Wii Sports" as our favourite tennis experience on the Wii. It's great fun even if you're not a Sega fan, but the lack of online is an insult to Wii gamers. [Apr 2008, p.70] -

SSX Blur looks great and plays brilliantly. The controls don't try to make you feel like a boarder - they just make you feel in touch with the game, and that's what the Wii is all about. [Apr 2007, p.76] -

A highly original RPG that oozes class through the screens and speakers. The unique battle system is a great idea, despite being let down occasionally by iffy controls. [May 2008, p.87] -
