Full of glitches, boring modes and a poor frame-rate at times. We have given it exactly the same score as "DRIV3R" and who actually enjoyed that game? Avoid it and you’ll be happy, and we’ll be happy.

A far cry from the quality we've come to expect from the series over the years.
    • Metascore: 62

24 lacks the focus and innovation to make it stand out from the crowd, and is yet more proof that throwing as many ingredients into the pot as possible rarely yields favourable results.

At its core Mage Night Apocalypse is, although not brilliant, at least passable. However, the fact that the game is hampered by numerous interface problems means it can only be recommended to those obssessed with the Mage Knight universe, or those that want to play every RPG there is.

American Conquest: Divided Nation's steep learning curve, dated mechanics and overly demanding system requirements are likely to prevent all but the most dedicated war gamers from enjoying its take on 19th Century warfare.
    • Metascore: 50

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory tries so much, and yet fails on so many levels. Unless you're a true fan of the franchise, we'd advise you to steer clear.

An uninspired game, Midway tried to turn the franchise into something it clearly isn’t and as such the game ends up being boring and generic.

A serviceable adventure game that does a few things new but is unlikely to tide anyone over or bring back renown to the adventure genre.
    • Metascore: 57
    • Critic Score 45
A budget title that very much feels like a budget title. The interface is clunky, the gameplay can be slow and each title has a few problems, you've really got to enjoy these board games to get any fun out of this title.

Rumble Roses XX seems to be more of an exercise in voyeurism for young teenage boys than a serious wrestling game.
    • Metascore: 44

Golden Axe: Beast Rider had the potential to be the second coming of the Golden Axe franchise, instead it left fans of the long-running series mulling over what could have been.
    • Metascore: 59
    • Critic Score 45
Such a broken game that you'd be better off waiting for NBA Live 08 to hopefully rectify some critical issues.
    • Metascore: 52
    • Critic Score 45
A better effort for the series but unless you live and breath Ford, there are much better options out there.

Conflict: Denied Ops is a mediocre first-person shooter with average gameplay. With so many flaws, this game is a tough sell at its current premium price.
    • Metascore: 53
    • Critic Score 45
With such a desirable concept, it's a shame the game hasn't been fleshed out to any great extent. Hopefully future instalments (if any) can provide higher levels of interaction and playability.

Although it’ superior to the PlayStation 2 version, there still lacks an overall polish and depth to make it stand out from the crowd. Best left for die-hard fans only.

Even if its only purpose was to lure speed-hungry maniacs off our roads, thereby saving hundreds of lives each year, it still wouldn't be worth it.

If you’re a pool enthusiast who finds they can’t get a table at the pub, then Actua Pool will fix your cravings, just don’t go expecting anything special.

It's not that Heatseeker is a horrible game; it just never aspires to be anything more than an average one.

Empire Earth III ultimately proves to be a predictable, tired, uninspired lump of a game.

Regardless of whether or not it was a good idea to make SWAT: Target Liberty for the PSP, it's quite a poor game either way.

Players would be better off waiting until the show comes around again to spend that sort of money on sideshow games.

Unfortunately with average presentation and a distinct lack of options the game is only really recommended to those who thrive on the idea of playing chess via the Xbox 360.

Dragoneer's Aria could have been a good game, but the dreadful battle system, lacklustre story and average presentation make it very difficult to recommend.
    • Metascore: 52

Brunswick Pro Bowling could have been an extension of the bowling found in Wii Sports. Unfortunately, by making the game too difficult most players are best left to playing the bowling game that came free with their Wii.

While Metropolismania 2 tries to blend elements from Animal Crossing and Sim City, it is poorly executed. The game feels like a chore, gets repetitive and frustrating, and won’t maintain your interest for long.

PixelJunk Racers is a basic game, not basic in the sense that it's easy to pick the game up (but it is) but basic in the sense that the game can be a little bit too boring.
    • Metascore: 43
    • Critic Score 45
The game becomes repetitive and boring after just half an hour and the gameplay is just too dull.
    • Metascore: tbd

Monster Jam isn't an overly bad game, it just doesn't do anything to differentiate itself from other racers - there are a few flaws which result in an average game.
    • Metascore: 49

It may amuse the really small ones, but unless you've got the memory of the goldfish you're going to spend your time catching, this one's probably worth avoiding.
