A visually quirky throwback to retro Disney, but under the unique surface it is a frustrating, dull and entirely mediocre platformer. [Dec 2012]

Fractured Soul is a quite clever 2D platformer, but there are too many instant death moments with no nearby checkpoints. [May 2013]

Everything works just fine. But it is so by the book that there is really nothing to write home about. [Jan. 05]

A decent shoot 'em up. A greater amount of run-of-the-mill enemies would have been a better choice. There are also some laughable AI issues with the big enemies. [Apr 2007]

A visually beautiful adventure that ultimately fails to deliver where it counts. The irritating script, the dumbed-down game mechanics and the utter lack of anything remotely resembling a challenge lead to the regrettable conclusion that Xbox 360 is still lacking its definitive j-rpg title. [Nov 2007]

A charmingly colourful, albeit a slow and repetitive RPG with a good cast of characters and a boring narrative. [Sept 2007]

A light gun shooter that is more fan service than catering to a wider audience. The game is decent but it’s also hard - sometimes very hard - and manages to frustrate at times. It’s also bland looking and ugly. For Resident Evil fans only. [Jan 2008]

NBA 08 is no more than a mediocre basketball game. The gameplay is too simple and easy to master. Lack of decent season mode is also a big problem. [Mar 2008]

A reasonably amusing splatterfest. Just bash the buttons and that's pretty much it, though. [Apr 2009]

A linear and slightly boring shoot'em up, which does not tap into the main game's strengths. Why the heck did we get a small scale conflict as the climax, when there was this whole end of the world stuff readily available as a dramatic finale? [Mar 2009]

Jungles of Pandora offer a nice setting for an action game, but unfortunately the game itself fails to deliver. The mission structure is stolen from MMOs, the storyline devolves to preaching and the game is very easy. The graphics are beautiful and there would have been a lot of potential, considering the PR. Now the game is nothing more than an average license product. And that is a shame. [Jan 2010]

Hearts of Iron III has lot of potential but is crippled by bugs and flawed AI. The addon surely will fix many problems but are fans willing to sacrifice 20 buck for a patch? [June 2010]

Scifi epic á la Japan is a relic from the 90's. Although the team's love for their game can be seen from all around, it isn't enough anymore. Bioware is breaking boundaries with their games, so when Star Ocean is compared to Mass Effect, the oriental star trek is unfortunately outdated. [Mar 2010]

A decent enough collection on winter sports themed minigames. The sense of speed is very good. Too bad the selection of sports is way too small. [Feb 2010]

Finally, some hexagons! As much as I would like to play turn-based strategy on the Xbox, especially on maps as pretty as these, the poor campaign, simplified tactical combat and magical power-ups are a big let-down. [Jan 2006]

Using Kinect to play a 2D beat 'em up is a great idea, but the novelty fades off after a couple of hours. Not that it takes much longer to finish the story mode, which is not quite enough for a retail game that costs 40 euros. [Dec 2011]

Home offers an intriguing concept, but doesn't quite pull it off. The story isn't very satisfying and the choices game forces you to make rarely have meaningful consequences. It's an okay little horror experience, but it could've been much, much more. [Aug 2012]

Playstation All-Stars battle Royale: Not the all-star moment everyone was hoping for, Playstation All-Stars battle Royale is instead a decent enough fighter with serious balance problems and a boring cast. [March 2013]

Grid 2 feels rushed and unpolished, there is tons of better arcade racing games out there. I'd rather play the first GRID. [Aug 2013]

The drunken cameraman is back. Slashing and slicing is not as satisfying as it should be. Legna the Dragon is the real hero of this nice little action-oriented RPG. [Mar 2006]

The battles look and sound nice, but do not offer much in terms of tactics and are often frustrating because of the ship captains' low IQ. [Oct 2006]

Pleasant to look at, but has very limited tactical depth. What is worse there is not really much else to do other than fire the phasers. Only a die-hard trekkie could enjoy this – and, sadly, probably will. [Feb 2007]

An easy racing game for children. It has minor graphic problems and a much too easy story mode, but the soundtrack is awesome. [Oct 2006]
