A solid translation of the Battlefield series to consoles. It doesn’t quite recreate the experience perfectly but it does it well enough to make it a compelling purchase.

Though there are some problems with the single-player artificial intelligence in the later levels, there is an overwhelming amount of value from the multiplayer modes and unlockable options.

American Wasteland is good, it just isn’t as impressive as it could have been considering the console’s capabilities.

The game is fundamentally sound and makes good use of the second, touch screen of the Nintendo DS.

Heavily recommended since the game has a top-notch presentation, great sense of humor, and is one of the few PSP games that you’ll really get something out of if you only have 20 minutes to play.

An appealing game for the 13 or so hours that it lasts. The storyline and atmosphere is perfect and the gameplay is solid for the most part.

The Xbox 360 version of the game is the definitive version as the additional missions and side missions help alleviate some of the repetitiveness that the game previously had.

While odds are that your little sibling will enjoy some of the game’s charm more than you, the underlying gameplay is satisfying and challenging enough to engage older players as well.

A great game. However, it isn’t as big of an improvement as "Battlefield 2" was over "Battlefield 1942." The new ranking system and unlocks will definitely keep fans of the series coming back for more.

Hitman: Blood Money doesn’t radically change the Hitman formula but it does provide enough wrinkles and nuances to keep the solid gameplay fresh. It’s quite satisfying to orchestrate a giant surprise to fall on an unsuspecting target.

The game includes tons of gameplay, a plethora of Marvel characters, a great presentation, and successfully balances the action and RPG elements, while letting players choose just how much they want to micromanage.

It isn’t revolutionary, but the game still delivers a mean game of football.

A great party game. It literally takes like 30 seconds to get used to the controls in the game and it’s going to be perfect to show people what the Wii Remote can do. Although it’s not the most complex experience out there, the game is incredibly fun.

Wii Sports is the perfect pack-in for the Wii since it really shows off the system’s unique capabilities and manages to draw in casual gamers who would otherwise not want to play videogames.

A solid approach to the Diablo formula. The game gives you a lot of flexibility with regards to your character, it lets you play online if you want, and you can create your own maps and quests. Add to this a stellar presentation and it’s hard to fault the game.

It’s a shame that EA decided to drop the intense cop chases from Most Wanted. Carbon is still a very addicting game even though the drift races don’t work quite as well as they should.

You should only be considering the Godfather on Wii if you haven’t played the game before since the new additions don’t drastically change the game. The Wii version does share all of the new content found in the PS3 version so if you are interested in the motion sensitive controls (which you will be once you experience them), this is the version to get.
