  1. Time to retire OSS 117's license to kill before any more innocent people suffer.
  2. Closed Circuit ultimately feels like a cynical attempt to capitalize on security-state anxieties while examining them in only the shallowest ways.

    The larger question is not whether these two will wind up together, but rather, if the filmmakers wanted to make a teen movie, why didn't they use real teenagers?
  3. Not that Chan isn't lovable; he is. But he's making it harder to feel warm and fuzzy about him with films like The Medallion. It's OK to age, but Chan needs to broaden his horizons. He is a trained singer. Where's that musical he's always dreamed of making?

    The exhibits in this Night at the Museum may still come to life nightly. But their latest movie stays stubbornly inert.

  24. The Visit is not a head-scratcher, like so many of Shyamalan's movies. It's more of a shoulder-shrug. That's it? That's all you've got?
  25. The writing is lazy, the movie focuses on all the wrong things and the tone lurches unpleasantly between gum-soft comedy and lukewarm thriller.
