Now, here's a great concept that's actually executed well. It's a shame that it gets repetitive after a while and that the PlayStation Move controls aren't as intuitive as the controller's. Overall, it's worth picking up; you won't regret this purchase.- Posted Jul 16, 2012

Yes, it's repetitive, borrows heavily from other games and isn't all that impressive in the graphics department. That, however, does not stop this game from being an incredibly fun experience.- Posted Jul 30, 2012

Somehow, we expected more than these few levels and skaters mashed together. It just doesn't suffice to match the originals' quality. There are also a lot of glitches and controls that aren't as responsive as they should be.- Posted Jul 30, 2012

If you can get over the fact that this isn't a survival horror game and subsequently hardly feels like a Silent Hill game at all, this is actually a very addicting button basher with surprisingly good level-design and a great atmosphere. A weak story, mediocre graphics and the repetitive nature of the gameplay keep Book of Memories from receiving more praise.- Posted Oct 29, 2012

A different approach to the well-established formula of Ratchet & Clank that works well... for the most part. The single-player is extremely short, but the strategic nature of the gameplay makes the online multiplayer very enjoyable.- Posted Dec 10, 2012

The latest Naruto game doesn't surprise: it adds more characters and features, as is usually the case with this ongoing franchise. You get an interesting storyline and gameplay which is instantly recognizable. Great for the fans, but we did notice the excruciatingly long loading times, slightly obsolete graphics and an unhealthy amount of button bashing. The game's fun, but it could (and should) have been better.- Posted Mar 25, 2013

Diggs Nightcrawler sets itself apart by using the book itself as a controller, instead of the PlayStation Move. The game is mostly aimed at a younger audience and is very amusing to look at (and listen to). It's a shame that the Wonderbook isn't always correctly detected by the PlayStation Eye and the adventure is a bit short overall, but still we would recommend a purchase.- Posted May 30, 2013

Juliet Starling is a sexy protagonist, but she is rather difficult to control. The colors dominating the screen at all times cannot hide the fact that the graphics are extremely mediocre. The gameplay is challenging, but the checkpoint system is off. All in all, Lollipop Chainsaw is not a bad game, but it isn't a great one either.- Posted Jul 9, 2012

While Burning Skies in fact proves that the Vita is capable of handling the First Person Shooter genre, the game in itself leaves much to be desired. A weak story, an uninteresting online multiplayer and an overall lack of polish keep it from reaching the lofty heights the franchise deserves.- Posted Jul 9, 2012

Somehow we thought this one would turn out to be better. After all, the concept of ruling your own country (or in this case: winning it back) holds great possibilities. And even though a unique visual style and well-implemented touch controls make New Little King's Story a fun experience, a weak story, repetitive gameplay and a number of technical mistakes doesn't make it a lasting one.- Posted Oct 29, 2012

Sadly the PS3 version of Crysis 3 is the worst version compared to the other platforms. The PS3 version is filled with framedrops, pop-ups, audio glitches and disappointing graphics. The singleplayer is fine, but it's short and the story is far from interesting. A fun shooter at best, but certainly no more than that. If you want the best experience you’re better off with the Xbox or PC version.- Posted Feb 28, 2013

Defiance kicks off an engaging science fiction universe along with the series of the same name. The world itself is great, but the game is rather mediocre. The action is fun thanks to a nice variety of weaponry, but repetitive missions, terrible AI and disappointing audio take away from the experience. Nevertheless, Defiance isn't the worst shooter out there - the interested shouldn't keep themselves from applying for duty.- Posted Apr 25, 2013

Dead Island: Riptide - more an expansion of than an actual sequel to Dead Island - doesn't succeed in changing up the formula much. The story's still weak, the controls still clumsy and the graphics are hit-and-miss. Some new additions like dead zones and some kick-ass new weapons keep things fresh, but after a while the action will get repetitive. And yet, despite all of this, the game manages to be extremely addicting.- Posted May 7, 2013

Yes, it's about as close to the real thing as you can get without working up a sweat, but that doesn't justify the lack of depth and replay value this game suffers from. And why does every athlete look the same?- Posted Jul 9, 2012

So... this could have been better. Granted, being able to adapt both graphics and sound to your own taste is a neat feature and you will enjoy yourself for a while playing this. The fun will eventually wear thin though, especially when you realize that you just keep doing the same thing over and over again. Only die hard Frogger fans should consider applying.- Posted Aug 7, 2012

I don't like giving a 'Tales' game such a low score, but Tales of Graces F doesn't leave me much of a choice. The game takes way to long to jump into second gear, while both the story and the graphics are mediocre at best. Our advice? Skip it.- Posted Sep 17, 2012

A fun shooter, collecting the best moments out of five classic James Bond movies on one disc. Then again, the gameplay has aged, the graphics are terrible and both loading times and enemy AI are major disappointments. There are better alternatives on the shooter market, that's for sure.- Posted Oct 29, 2012

Epic Mickey 2's concept is simply brilliant, throwing together a fun Disney-themed universe, fitting music and very enjoyable gameplay elements. It's a shame that the brilliance doesn't amount to AI, clear mission objectives and general sloppiness. The game should be praised for its fantastic PlayStation Move implementation and playing the title with a friend cuts down on the frustration. In the end, though, we cannot recommend this mousy adventure.- Posted Dec 10, 2012

Good 2D platform/puzzle games are scarce nowadays and it almost looked like Double Fine had that part covered. Almost. False advertising made us think that we would be drooling over this game, while now all we do is cry over it. Admitted: the Monkey Island-ish humour is still hilarious and in coop play we had a few laughs over stupid things, but that’s not enough to make up for the high hopes we had, that now lie in ashes.- Posted Feb 8, 2013

Sacred Citadel is the prequel to Sacred 3 and, judging by its parts, should be a great game. However, it doesn't completely succeed. The fighting system is fun, but the amount of combo's is lacking. The game lacks challenge and the story originality. Thus, unfortunately, Sacred Citadel isn't more than the sum of its parts. If you absolutely want to get it, play it in co-op.- Posted May 7, 2013

Enough already! Stop trying to be Call of Duty, you're failing miserably at it. This shooter lacks any ideas of its own and only delivers an extremely lackluster single-player campaign and an online multiplayer segment that will not be able to hold your attention for long. Do not buy this, you'll regret it.- Posted Oct 29, 2012

A major disappointment in almost every way. The AI is dumb, the graphics obsolete, the animations at times absolutely horrible and the story boring. It's not scary, not engaging and certainly not exiting. It's just not good, period.- Posted Feb 20, 2013

Well, Army of TWO: The Devil's Cartel is a little bit of a letdown. Long loading times, invisible walls, dumb AI and a lot of graphical glitches takes away from the experience. Thus, it's not as good as the previous games in the series, which doesn't mean it isn't a fun shooter. Especially when playing with a friend - and let's face it, that is the way you should play Army of TWO - the game might just be worth your while.- Posted Apr 12, 2013

Dynasty Warriors hasn't changed much as a franchise over the years. Each episode has its additions, of course, but the developers have never really strayed from the beaten path. Dynasty Warriors 7, dubbed Empires, is not a great game. There's a bunch of technical problems, the graphics are disappointingly average, the menu stutters and the camera irritates. Fans will probably like it, though - newcomers won't. And it's a shame the multiplayer's a waste - there's hardly anyone online to play with.- Posted Apr 18, 2013

Inversion has a great premisse, an interesting story and an overall solid control scheme. This, however, isn't enough to save the game from mediocrity. Its biggest crime isn't the short campaign or the graphical flaws, but the fact that fooling around with gravity - supposedly the game's big hook - isn't at all necessary.- Posted Jul 30, 2012
