Ezio's new adventure is an intermediate chapter the fans of the series will certainly like. Unfortunately, it offers a shorter single player campaign, and a fun yet not so deep multiplayer mode.

Sonic Colours is a worthy successor of the saga we have learned to love in the 90's. Quick and easy to master, the game brings a lot of fun and it's really enjoyable by all kind of players.

Pro mode is something new in a genre in a desperate need of innovation. Maybe it won't be able to teach you how to play music, but it's the nearest thing in videogame industry. Unfortunately, if you already are a musician, you will find yourself a bit frustrated by the rigidity of the system. Also, the keyboard hasn't been fully supported with a lacking tracklist and a limited peripheral.

Professor Layton and The Unwound Future is a jigsaw puzzle that follows the path of his predecessors, delivering once again a great experience.

Ghost of Sparta is beyond doubt the best action experience you can find on your PSP. Still, it feels like a small step back from the evolution of the saga achieved by the last HD chapter: puzzles section are completely useless and mechanics feel somehow old. A very good work, but not the masterpiece it could've been.

It's a lot of fun and fast as hell, at least in the first half. The pace sometimes slows down as you get to the end, and the Skillshot system dowsn't work smoothly all the way through. It's still an original and funny take on first person shooting: it won't last too long, but you'll enjoy a lot out of it.

Original, gifted with an interesting gameplay and a great design, Okamiden could be the DS swan song.

It's a step forward from its predecessor, adding loads of new content and stuff to do. At the same time, the campaign is shorter and it has some dull moments, and multiplayer is suitable only for a very casual audience. PC porting is well done, adding some detail and filters to an already great modelling.

id's back with a funny shooter, filled with content and good ole first person shootin' made in Texas. It could've been much better with more polish and fewer half-cooked ideas though, probably a sign that 5 years out of a fast growing market is way too much.

On consoles, DICE's work comes without the two things that made it great on PC: scale and over the top graphics. It's still an incredibly solid and compelling online shooter, but it definitely feels too close to Bad Company 2. This year, Battlefield should be a PC only matter.

Played on PC, Modern Warfare 3 is as entertaining as it should be, but it lacks in technical evolution, especially on a platform where graphics have been pushed far beyond in the last year. On the other hand, dedicated servers finally do the trick, making it a good choice for every COD fan out there.

Revelations is a sequel that won't disappoint the fans of the saga, yet it lacks in polish. The difficulty level is still too low, AI and combat system don't make every gameplay addition smooth to play. It still feels more like an expansion of the second chapter than an entirely new chapter.

Super Mario 3D Land is a solid chapter for our favourite plumber. A small number of power-ups and scarce innovation are the biggest flaws of the game itself.

The last chapter of Ezio's trilogy is everything an Assassin's Creed fan could expect. Sure, there are still the classical flaws of the saga, like the lacking AI or the too low level of difficulty, but the beauty of Istanbul and the desire to see the end of such a charismatic character like Ezio will prevail on imperfections.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 isn’t just an update of the previous version: a lot of gameplay implementation from PES 2008 make this game a new and unique soccer experience. It would’ve been better to get updated graphics too, still at PS2 level, anyway the game doesn’t suffer too much for that. A must have for any Wii-soccer fan.

Sharp sword fighting and a believable new universe unite in this amazing game. There's a little bit too much backtracking and enemies look sometimes like clones, but if you love your Wii, you can't miss this one.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is a great soccer game. The gameplay overall is still pretty much the same, but a lot more has been added. The engine in the gameplay is excellent, and feels a more smooth gameplay. The free kick has improved and the IA of your players is better than last year's edition. Very fun and fantastic gameplay.

After the patch, finally the PC folks can play Black Ops, and enjoy its entertaining offer. There are still some annoying bugs here and there, but now the game is totally playable. It feels nonetheless unfair that the PC public had to endure so mutch after spending the money: let's hope it's a lesson soon learned.

It lacks optimization, both in controls and bug fixing, sometimes with major crashes and incompatibility with common hardware. Even when working, it doesn't seem like there's any reason to be found for the 6 months delay.
