If you are in the mood for some interesting and fun point and click adventuring Scarlett and the Spark of Life is definitely recommended. It won' t last you more than an evening though.

Tomena Sanner is a hilarious game that I wouldn't want to have missed out on playing. Once the levels have been beaten once there isn't that much content there to make me want to play it again.

Kumo Lumo is a decent, colorful game that is perplexingly free.

King Cashing is a great way to spend time, and it can be really exciting at the end of battles. At times the fact that it is a slot machine shines through, and then it feels all random and no skill.

Overall, the game is fun, but while there are plenty of unlocks, I just do not think it has enough variety to keep anyone coming back. That being said, it is a free game, and even if you get 45 minutes of solid entertainment from it, it is worth a download.

Diggin' Dogs borrows the perspective, and some of the control mechanics from the green crocodile from Disney, but in the end it is a completely unique experience. If you are looking for a challenging puzzler with a lot of game time, and cute dogs you can't go wrong with Diggin' Dogs.

Tentacle Wars is a highly enjoyable quick strategy game that at times gets too close to being a puzzle game instead.

While GunRange is essentially a tech demo, it does offer some re-playability by adding new weapons which can be unlocked using credits earned.

The presentation is more polished than the original, but it will not win any accolades for graphics. There is simply too much grey, and the bloodspatter isn't over the top. I would have liked some wicked splashes of blood littering the screen. As for sound it is ok too.

The story along with the voice acting and overall experience severely outweigh the glaring performance issues and technical holes for first generation iPad users.

Sluggo is an uncomplicated game, with no in-game currency, achievements or IAP. It's easy as heck to jump in and play, and provides a heck of a challenge in true iOS puzzler fashion.

‘The God’s: Rebellion’ is the game equivalent of fast food – pretty (tasty), not exactly good for you (not much depth), but you can’t help having more. It might not be the most sophisticated title, but there’s a thousand other App Store games for that. If you’re in the mood for the simple act of putting pointed steel to soft demon flesh, you could do far worse.

Still,’ Danmuku’ hits all the important notes when it comes to gameplay. It may be a bit chaotic – but let’s face it – it’s supposed to be. It’s also smooth, enjoyable and great to look at. Probably one of the best iPhone bullet hellers I’ve played.

Episode 1 is a great set up for the series, introducing you to some returning regulars such as the helpful voodoo lady and new nemesis, the Marquis de Singe, who can best be described as a crazy french doctor who wants Guybrush's now cursed voodoo hand for his experiments.

A fast paced action shooter which fulfils a need for fans of classics such as Afterburner. It's not going to blow you away with originality, and there are a few flaws that may put you off. But, the intense action and rocking soundtrack can be an addictive formula, if you've got the skills!

The distances of attacks are not that easy to understand, which makes the battles feel a bit random in nature. More importantly the on-rails nature of the battles can turn the game into an endless flier circling around the enemy. However, the excellent dark mood created by the sound, and mellower flight sections are well worth experiencing.

Episode 5 is a suiting finish to a fantastic series, but doesn't score higher then a 3.5 because of it's requirement to repeatedly go back and forth between places taking the fun out of it slightly and because the final battle felt like it could have done with more to it.

Year Walk isn’t for everyone, as it is far from a casual experience and it takes a lot of effort from the player to get into it. For those who manage to immerse themselves completely this is one of the greatest games ever on iOS. For those who don’t it is a waste of time, and money.
