A polished entry in the time management genre. If you loved the first two it is a natural step to get the third as well. If you are new to the franchise the third is a good place to start.

Despite those problems though this is a great action title offering an intense mix of fighting, shooting and adventure. However, casual gamers beware!… this is hardcore through and through.

Dirt looks dirtier when shown on a bigger screen, that is a fact.

But the real reason to buy the game is for the local multiplayer of both the main game's levels (through racing) and the previously mentioned mini games.

A very enjoyable arcade beat-em-up. It has great visuals with humorous animation, a nice range of power ups (including a mega smart bomb which destroys everything on-screen after collecting all the letters of the word 'Gumball'), inventive enemies – a multi-decker sandwich that takes off his head to beat you with – and a range of power ups to keep you interested.

One of the most fun casual jumping games I have come across. It combines simple controls, a great concept and varied obstacles.

While not without flaws, Assassin's Creed 2: Discovery is an exciting and fast-paced action platformer that will keep you entertained for a good amount of time. Even with the sometimes erratic movement/framerate issues, it really is a joy to parkour your way through the environments from one satisfying kill to the next.

A great adventure game with focus on interpersonal relationships, and intense quicktime events. The first episode sinks it´s hooks in deep, and the wait for the next episode is already tormenting me. This comes highly recommended to both fans, and newcomers to the world of the Walking Dead.

Taking Xtreme Wheels on face value I can easily say it's the definitive trials experience on the iPhone and iPad. Upon further dissection it could certainly do with more levels, tweaked control response and some of it's glitches fixing. This is by all means a must by for trials fans!

Tin Man Can combines great presentation with simple to grasp controls, and an excellent multiplayer mode.

Despite it's multiplayer shortcomings, Muffin Knight is a game that should not by missed. It's one of those games that just shouldn't work. But, all the elements come together to form a unique arcade experience that will be comfortably at home with the other great - and strangely quirky - titles on the AppStore.

Smash Cops is a cool action racer based around stopping fugitives by ramming them. It takes skill to master, and it is a real joy unlocking new cars and levels. The game could do with better music, or at least the option to use your own playlist. However, the excellent graphics, innovative controls and intense action still makes it an easy recommendation in my book.

Kid Vector is a cool speed run platformer that can challenge most players intensively. I would have liked to see more story, or at least more variation with power ups for example.

I found the slow pace, and extended loading times even on my iPhone 4 to diminish the fun factor of the game considerably. If you are an avid manager fan there is no reason not to get this game though.

Elemental Rage is a great game with a solid control system and a story strong enough to keep you playing through to the end.

Pretty good. It does have a couple of problems in that the leaderboard system does not have a friends list, and the game, sometimes gets a little too frantic for touch controls.

Ultimately, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within plays very well on iPhone, it looks great and, despite some instances, controls great too. The main issue I have with it though, is its console heritage, especially the save system.

Dodonpachi Maximum is probably the best place to start in the Cave universe of bullet hell shooters. It has an easy mode, and is overall easier to play due to the lack of debris. The lack of personality compared to the ports is a let-down for us veterans though.

Bumpy Road is one of those games which, like Tiny Wings before it, oozes charm and sophistication, yet comes in such a small budget package. It's proof that sometimes the simplest ideas have the most legs, or in this case wheels.

I've been converted! Don't expect me to start wearing Angry Birds T-Shirts all of a sudden, or going back and playing the original. But who knew that sticking an already strange pairing of birds and pigs, and launching them into an off-worldly environment, would turn me around. But, unfortunately for me, it has.

The Adventures of Tom TAPper took me by surprise, and I am really impressed with the quick one tap gameplay mechanic. It is the kind of game more or less impossible to put down once you have started playing it.
