Chrono&Cash is a really fun game that you enter casually, but soon play compulsively. And after all the jumping, and running Cash has to do I really think he deserves some rumbling around in the hay.

So if you're the type of sadist that enjoys the thrill of unholy enemies zeroing in on you from all angles with barely a minute to catch your breath, then Mutant Storm is as pure an arcade shooter as you're going to find. Let it rain.

It's lacking too much, and there'll come a point when you realise that grabbing the keys to your Honda Civic and ram-raiding a real football match would be much more fun.

Temple Run Brave relies on the same addictive formula that made the original a household name. Complete objectives, upgrade abilities and run just one more time. If you hated this formula in the original you won't be won over by the Brave inclusion. For the rest of us we will just have to keep running.

It has a weird control scheme that might turn people looking for a more traditional shooter off. However, if you like strategy games and shooters, this combination just might be for you. Honestly, while it's not perfect, Tiny Troopers is easily one of my favorite games I have ever played on iOS.

Human Defense is a tower defense game set inside the human body. Some aspects it does really well such as forcing you to keep the body healthy using the same currency you spend on building towers. Other aspects are not as good such as the boring grey towers, and viruses making it harder to tell everything apart.

Uplink is a classic that works really well on the iPad. I still prefer playing it on a PC though, as it connects closer to the subject matter. At times the game feels a bit too real, and too serious and I really just want to disconnect. This is the main problem with this kind of game: it takes commitment, and can't be played casually.

It's a shame the MiB theme tune wasn't included somewhere along the line. Instead, a generic hip hop soundtrack is on offer, but never seems entirely suited to the game. I need my 1990′s Will Smith cheese damnit.

In a sea of arcade style games on the app store, Radia does little to stand out. However; I don't want to sound negative about Radia, it does some things really well, and for 99 cents it provides a toy-like experience that will keep you busy over the course of a few train rides.

A game where your enemies mock you by exposing their derrière has to be played immediately.

Piranha 3DD is not the flaming pile of horse poop I expected it be, but it's not a particularly good game. Unless you are a huge fan of the movie (is anyone?) or really like eating people, I would pass on this game.

Brainergy fails to both deliver the message, and some really fun physics puzzles. It feels old, and tired yet it could have showcased a fresh new world of renewable energy.

Affliction is an augmented reality zombie survival shooter with a lot of issues, and limited content. It feels more like a tech demo, or proof of concept than a proper game. If you want to blast zombies there are better alternatives out there.

Its a cute enough game, and will keep you entertained for a while. But when your Wife tells you to put away your phone because its time for dinner, then proceeds to serve up lamb chops with chilli sauce, you'll realise what sheep are really good for.

Inferno+ improves upon the original from Xbox Live, but on iOS it has much more competition than on console. The formula has been tried, tested, patented, and Inferno+ is certainly one of the better when it comes to execution.

Every few months a new game comes out that absolutely dominates my iOS gaming, and Zombie Carnaval is that game. Mobigame has taken the best parts out of one-touch, forward-motion platforming games and thrown in enough features and charm to really make this title stand out above the rest.

Games with a sense of humour always get some sort of thumbs up form me. Plus I've learned so much about the Chinese playing Chin Up that I can't wait to go share it with people. After all, why would Touch Village feature it if it wasn't true?

Rock(s) Rider feels unfinished at heart with a lot of fancy stuff layered on top. After hitting the head of the rider twenty times in a row without realising that the obstacle was obscured by a beam in another layer I had to conclude that I wasn't having any fun at all.

Overall, Razor: Salvation is not a bad game, but it relies too heavily on the unlock mechanic and supposedly high-end visuals and not enough on variety. For some people, the simple shooting gameplay might grab them and keep them entertained for hours, but for me, it just left me feeling unsatisfied.

Score! Classic Goals is one of those games that I want everyone to try no matter if you are diehard soccer fan, or just a gamer. Sure those haters out there won't like it, but I wouldn't want them near this game either, as they would soil it with negativity.

Subway Surfers looks and sounds great, but it does not add anything new to the endless running genre. It's fun to play, but it feels a little too much like games that have come before.

The sketchy multiplayer is a black blot on an otherwise beautifully crafted real-time strategy game for iOS devices.

Pastry Panic has some moments of fun when it all clicks, but these are not that frequent. Most of the time it feels like I am waiting for the pace to pick up, only knowing that I will curse at the controls once it does. Pastry Panic will probably hook some players, but it failed to hook me and left me feeling a bit bored.

All in all, it's a quality package, but it hasn't quite turned me on to the idea that insects should be given the privilege of existence. In fact, if it's done anything at all, it's made me more bloodthirsty for their demise.

There's also a cool multiplayer mode which sees you go up against three other players in an attempt to see who can crash first…excuse me, stay in the air the longest. It's an enjoyable extra.

It's definitely a good laugh, even if the gameplay is slightly one note, and a sense of satisfaction when you finally break through enemy defenses to clobber their outhouse is guaranteed, especially on the later levels.
